Sad to say this show will be more entertaining than their 2019 season.
Gabe Jackson is out 6 weeks and their O line was not that great to begin with.

Finally caught the premier episode and overall it was pretty boring. Johnathan Abram needs to grow up... I do like Derek Carr quite a bit and Clelin Ferrell seems like a really good guy. I do agree with other members that their initial year in Vegas would have been waaaaaay more interesting.

I agree that it was a pretty boring episode . Nobody on the team seems interesting to me, and that includes Derek Carr who is nice but a bland personality. I thought AB would at least be a fun watch but wasn't on much due to the injury and wasn't very funny or memorable when he was on.
Also weird that they never even mention Las Vegas in the first episode It's going to be a huge elephant in the room this season in Oakland

Going to be tough to beat the material Antonio Brown has provided the 1st 2 eps: hot air balloon, cryogenic accident ripping skin off his feet, leaving camp because he can't use his helmet.

^ Only one we saw so far was the hot air balloon and that wasn't very exciting or memorable. They acted like he had hurt his feet exercising like any professional athlete could, when in reality it was closer to a Michael Scott sort of injury.

Episode 2 had more Gruden
Did they really have to show Browns feet up close in HD?
The Rams whipped them in that scrimmage
Carr's wife

Gruden is a fantastic watch, super entertaining, the players on the other hand kinda boring, have yet to see one minute of Jacobs and Ty Williams the two big offseason O moves after Brown...

They will probably edit out what Gruden thinks of this Antonio Brown fiasco

I really, really like Gruden. I never cease to be amazed at how infectious the leadership is of these head coaches. I couldn't stand Hue Jackson but loved his staff... conversely, I don't know if anybody but Buckner has even spoken a word on Gruden's staff.

I heard that Mike Mayock has been difficult on the production of this season. He won't let the NFL Films cameras tape any of his meetings and he won't talk to the cameras either. So they have to work around him. Thankfully the GM is the least interesting part of the show.

That's weird considering what a TV presence he was for so many years

Abram is still a damn moron!
Abram: “Why aren’t I ranked higher in Madden?”
Madden Video Game Guy: “Uh, you have to do something first...”

Surprisingly outside of Carr you don't see the family lives of the players which they covered more in previous seasons.
They could show Gruden and what he does when he is not coaching then again football is probably defines his entire life.
Not a huge Franl Caliendo fan but the opening was funny.

I have watched all four episodes this week while I've been on vacation. The biggest takeaway for me is how weird it is hearing Gruden cuss after hearing him on Monday Night Football. I was cracking up when he said he needed to stop cussing.

It did not take long
It is more relevant than "Commitment to Excellence" since they have not won a Super Bowl since 1984

Jason Cabinda seems like a cool guy and hope he makes the team

Since they're focused on him... he won't. The rookie WR (his name escapes me) seems like a shoe-in to not only make the team but play consistently. I suspect Waller will get the last TE spot over Willson too.

Waller is actually looking like their starter, and he's getting a lot of fantasy buzz as a potential breakout guy. They're super thin at TE - they don't have anyone better than these two - so both will probably make the team.
