In the Youtube comments, someone figured out that the reason Chidi wanted to see the note he wrote was because he knew Eleanor would read it off his glasses (like she did with the charades cards earlier in the episode).

Believe it or not, I've only just gotten into this show and love it! I binged the third season this week and want to watch the fourth live with the nation. Hulu only has episodes 7 and up, is the rest worth buying digital at Amazon so I can enjoy the end with everyone? It's $3/episode so $18 for what I missed or just the whole season for $24. I don't usually do that but I want to watch the ending live with everyone.

We don't have cable, just OTA. I will look into the the three freebies possibility, good idea. That would cut it down to three to pay for, though I'll need to act fast before Episode 7 is down, I'm sure. I know it's all about money and contracts but I've always found it frustrating that I can pay for Hulu and not have access to all the new content, just limited. Oh, well.

You can also sign up for a trial of YouTube TV or a similar service to access the episodes that way, YouTube TV, for example, has access to NBC.com and also has the episodes available on their VOD.

Just be sure to cancel! It's like a 3 week free trial so cancel early.

I only say this because you know the full series will be available for a discount once it's done.

After this week's episode I really thought it may have been the finale. I went and looked at the guide for next week, and it's scheduled for an hour with this description:

"Various conversations occur, between various groups of people."



I liked where they went in terms of The Good Place not being perfect. They sure seem to have managed to have solved that pretty quickly though, when the other team struggled with it for so long. (Larger donut holes!)

I think they summed up why they were able to solve it so quickly in the episode: the original Good Place committee, while well intentioned, were immortal beings with no real understanding of what it means to be human. Team Cockroach figured it out because they were actual humans, and two immortal beings who've hung around them a lot.

Also, I believe the suggestion was something like "make mini donuts bigger, but not just regular donuts (Dave will explain)." Personally, I thought it was a knock on the actual product "Hostess Jumbo donettes":

This really was a perfect show for me.
Lasted just the right length, was well written. Acted excellently.

Absolutely beautiful. This could have easily gone off the rails but it's clear they sat down and made a plan. I was happy with everybody's end though I wish Chidi would have given Eleanor a little more time, but I'm also glad she learned enough over the eternities to not demand it of him.

so, this has got to be a mistake, but the Complete Series by Shout is $5.99 at Amazon and Walmart.com. i had trouble at first with Amazon not putting into cart, but it did and i got. must be a mistake, right? too bad no digital copy, but for $5.99 who the hell cares.
