I like that Arya didn't die with the Hound, but when he said "Do you want to be like me?" or whatever it was he said I kind of hoped her response would have been "More than anything."

Well, I guess there isn’t much doubt who will be the one to sit on the Iron Throne now. No way Dany makes it out alive.
It took Jon Snow until the second to last episode to know something. He knows that Dany can’t sit on the Iron Throne now.
Congrats Dany. You now rule over a city of rubble.

I’m glad there’s only one episode left at this point. The last three have been so clumsily written that I just kind of want to see who Martin told them ends up on the throne and then to be done with it.

So who is going to dig out the Iron Throne from under all the rubble?

I was hoping Arya would die (I mean...how many Pac-man lives does she get in one episode?) but then I was hoping at the end, since she did survive, that when they did the profile shot of her, it would have revealed her being burned like The Hound as she turned.

"Let it be fear."
No shit, Dany never cared about the people inside King's Landing that why she answer Missandei's last word "Dracarys"

I always knew Dany and her god complex was just as batshit crazy as Cercei.
And congratulations GOT, you finally learned how to use a dragon and saved $$$ in long battle scenes FX.

Making the call that Jon kills Dany and then makes sure that no one knows he's a Targaryen. The House of Targaryen ends.

Who would want to rewatch the series now knowing what Dany does in this episode?

I was expecting Dany to get to Cersei, but to only have Cersei blow the tower with wildfire killing them both. Mutually assured destruction. I didn't see this coming at all, especially with Dany starting to torch women and children. It does make sense though all that inbreeding makes the Targaryens crazy.

I mean, she did threaten to burn cities to the ground in Season 2.

Pretty impressive episode. I've really got no complaints. So everyone (those of us watching) going into this last episode will root for Jon.. we'll see how it turns out. Can't wait.

Wow, Danny went off the deep end. I just don't see how she can sit on the throne after murdering all those innocent people.
I'm going with both Jon and Danny killing off each other and Stansa ends up on the throne.

This episode was bananas in a fantastic way. Clearing out everything for a Jon and Dany faceoff. The visuals were amazing. I wonder if Arya will kill Grey Worm? She won’t kill Dany. They pulled that trick already with the Night King and Jon learned the lesson about being the one to swing the sword from Ned. I’m assuming Varys got some notes out and Jon’s ascension will be considered totally legitimate.
From Season 2 in the House of the Undying. Inside the Red Keep but that ain’t snow:
Anyone who thinks this destruction is out of character for Dany hasn’t been paying attention. She’s been threatening to burn cities to the ground since she found her dragons.

I thought it was a masterpiece of an episode. Yes it was a little frustrating seeing Dany's heel-turn but man what a spectacle. And so much easier to follow than The Long Night two weeks ago. Arya's journey at the end was really interesting and cool to see.

Euron finally ran out of cheat codes and didn't have magic arrows and invulnerability.
Episode went kinda the only way it could have. Though I would say that the extent to which Danny burned the city was a bit much. I know she's been shit all along and they've been building up to her going bug-fuck crazy, but it was still over the top and it didn't make much sense to me.

I think it's possible, however, that Jon will continue to be by her side. I think she can convince him that what's done is done and now she'll rule peacefully.. maybe he'll go with that. However.. I think she may have gotten word that Tyrion let his brother escape and she may execute him for his final betrayal.. that would push Jon over the edge I think. At this point.. anything is on the table.

Hell hath no greater fury than a dragon owner scorned
That's what I am wondering.
However, I expect she will ultimately wander off into the forest and become He-Of-Many-Faces 2.0.
Besides, Arya has already made a Big Kill...
It's amazing Dany finally discovered how to use her dragon effectively.
I was beginning to give up hope she would ever learn how to wield it effectively.
Too many now know of Jon's Targaryen blood.
No way to stop the spread of the info at this point.
The big mystery for next episode is how many of the Big 3 go down: Jon, Dany, Sansa.
I can see Jon being capable of a Foolish Gesture for Love.
Leaving Dany and Sansa to slug it out.
Both are equally inflexible...one has to go.
OR
We know Tyrion is forfeit; he betrayed Dany.
If she forgives him, she will sit on the Iron Throne.
If she doesn't, flip a coin.
OR
Jon kills Dany...yet the Dragon doesn't kill him because he is a Targaryen.
OR
Sansa kills Dany, Jon kills Sansa in a fit of rage, and reluctantly takes the Iron Throne.
OR
Who the hell knows?
