I watched the Dark Side Confidential show with Jericho and the creators of the show that previewed the second half of season 3 and it was pretty good.

What the WWE did to Kanyon was criminal and disgusting with the Undertaker. Never new about that. FUCK you Vince...

His story was heartbreaking. I had always liked him as a performer. One of the better episodes for sure.

That was some bullshit Cena and Flair said, too. I was a Mortis/Kanyon mark for sure and he had more moves than Cena and Flair combined.

Cena came across like the company man I've heard he is. Flair must be wishing that they quit using him in their episodes. He definitely come off particularly great. This episode just had a melancholy about. One of the more emotional stories they've done.

Re: Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland

Season 4 with 10 episodes premieres on May 30

Tthe fourth season will “explore stories like the emotional rollercoaster of one of wrestling’s most captivating and controversial couples, Chris Candido and Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, the car accident that derailed the career of future World Champion Magnum T.A., wrestling’s most unhinged monster, Abdullah the Butcher, a focused look on the troubled life of Marty Jannetty, Shawn Michaels’ former tag team partner, and much more.”

The final episode of Dark Side of the Ring Season 3 aired in October 2021, and the show’s status had been uncertain ever since, particularly when Vice TV leaned further into wrestling content with the Tales From The Territories docuseries, which was executive produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

I don't watch this regularly ... but every so often I end up going down a rabbit hole and, please hit me with a chair for saying I enjoy this.

For what it is worth, there is a reality series on Apple + that was actually pretty good. It's about The Monster Factory (and that may be the name, but I forget already).

Re: Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland

The Chris and Tammy episode was pretty good. I was in high school when they Skip and Sunny debuted.

I never knew she was banging Shawn Michales.

Sad that he died right after he cleaned himself up, I knew she was still a huge mess.

I did not follow that era but it was a sad ending to what they claim he would have been a superstar in the current era of wrestling.

They really glossed over just how messed up Tammy was and some of the things she did but it was more about Chris which is better that he be remembered.

Re: Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland

I found the Newest episode on YouTube and this was on the same level of sad as the Brian Pillman episode. Focusing on Chris Candido most of the episode was the right call and if you want to know all the details about Sunny's downfall there are countless videos about her on YouTube.

A dumb question does this air in Canada first since it is produced in Canada?

Another good episode on Magnum TA.

I did not follow the NWA though they said he was doing well outside of wrestling but no mention of what that was or what career he had or has now?

The Grahams and the Von Erichs are competing for most cursed family in professional wrestling.

I can’t believe I remembered B. Brian Blair from his days wrestling the Hart Foundation in WWF as a member of The Killer Bees.

Net weeks episodes on Doink the Clown should be good.

Re: Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland

The Matt Borne/Doink episode was good. I liked the tidbit that the idea from Doink came from Hawk of the Road Warriors who said Borne looked like Krusty the Clown.

Really looking forward to next week since Junkyard Dog was one of my favorites when I was a kid.

Re: Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland

I was not into wrestling and got out of it when Doink appeared on the scene and thought they must be really struggling if they had to come up with a clown gimmick.

I guess I should have gave him more credit as a wrestler.
