Wow that's nuts, I've never seen anything like that in my life. And yeah, the way it's depicted on the show totally reminds me of a cult, but hey they're Christian so that makes it ok.

I don't blame you. The first time I went down south and saw a megachurch I almost shit myself. They are by far the biggest scams in the US. The "pastors" are laughing all the way to the airport for their last minute vacation on their private jet.

Watched the first 3 episodes... thought it was ok so far.

I also suspect Goodman will be killed off - unless the show will be only 1-2 seasons long.

McBride looks older than his real-life 42 years. Seems like he's aged a lot the last few years.

I laughed the minute I got a look at him and his hair. Then when they called his old man character 'Baby Billy' I really lost it. He is so perfect for this sort of thing. The way he is uniquely able to give a phenomenal performance while at the same time be so over-the-top funny is damned impressive. There's a reason this guy gets calls from both McBride and Tarantino.

Well, that was unexpected. Goodman and Goggins are so good. The kid who played young McBride was excellent. Who played Goodman’s wife? She was excellent as well.

Its funny how much better the show is without McBride, He should stick to writing.
