Spade has been great the past few weeks. If the show doesn't get picked up somewhere something is very wrong.

Shit, that's too bad. The Comedy Channel up here has been playing in Spade's place some show starring that Conan guy, whom I have never found funny in the slightest, notwithstanding his devoted following.

The show never seemed like a great fit for Comedy Central's current brand of political comedy. I generally liked what I saw, though its quality always depended heavily on which guests happened to be on the panel.

Ironically that was one of the best things the show had going for it.

That's true. Some guests were wall-to-wall laughs, while others were mostly quiet. One guy who sort of got on my nerves was the one who laughed like a hyena at the slightest quip, drowning out everyone else. He was on again recently. Can't remember his name.

Just when I got caught up with all the shows after football was over they cancel it

I liked the episodes with Pete Holmes and the one with Kevin Nealon and Norm Macdonald.

Ugh. Josh Wolf. Annoying AF.

Yeah, and it's not even that he can't be funny himself so much, it's that he is such a hype man for every other guest...way too far over the top.

Anyway, Spade has been killing it online, and it turns out he is actually a pretty decent interviewer if you've seen any of his Tiger King spots. The guy absolutely should have his own show on some platform. I'd love to see him on something like Netflix, but then again they botched Norm Macdonald so who knows.

Yeah, that's him. I appreciate the generosity of laughing at others' jokes, but he needs to cut back on the decibels and intensity.

I think that was the point, purposely going apolitical after the last two shows (The Minority Report and The Opposition) didn't work out. I guess it didn't work out this time either, they just can't get anything to stick since Colbert left.

@sternshow: Comedy Central may have cancelled @DavidSpade’s show #LightsOut but he tells @HowardStern he’s already in talks to bring the series somewhere else.

Watch and listen to more #SternShow FREE on the @SIRIUSXM app through May 31: https://t.co/cAVh6GHIpT https://t.co/AcdpF3bTcs
