Iris Allen is the worst written character in the show. The writers must really hate Candace Patton to put her in such shitty situations. And Nora isn't far behind. Like I've said before, she's supposed to be in her 20's yet she acts like a 12 year old. So fucking stupid. On the other hand, Grant Gustin is Barry Allen. I wish he could be transitioned to the DC Cinematic Universe as I think he would fit in perfectly with Gal Gadot, Zachary Levi and Jason Momoa.

Even though most here don’t seem to like her, I liked this episode. It gave some valuable background to Nora and her motives. It's a tragic backstory with her BFF getting killed by Godspeed. Plus it showed how she ended up working with Thawne.

And now Barry does not trust her at all and sent her back to the future. But that will be only temporary.

I did have to  at Candace Patton's grey wig. They didn't even try to age her.

I agree with you. The episode made me empathize with Nora a little but the whole Iris and everyone not letting Nora know she was a speedster and implanting a chip to damper her powers is just so bad for Candace Patton. Again, it's like they really want fans to hate her even more.

Didn't care for Berry taking Nora Back To The Future without taking to Iris first. Iris may have liked to have said something.

I assume Godspeed will likely be involved on next year's season? Seemed far too important of a character to one off and using a name actor's voice to boot.

I thought this was a standout episode for what has been a pretty lackluster season. It was good to get some backstory on Nora. It was nicely paced and had some good tension throughout. Nice directorial debut for Danielle Panabaker.

I thought it was funny that Barry said he would sense it if Nora traveled back in time again, but he hadn't sensed any of her other travels up til now.

So it's just a big coincidence that she was obsessed with the Flash and then finds out he was her dad?

I liked the episode as well, sure there were parts that made no sense but that's par for the course now.

We all know Nora will be back and Thawne, by manipulating Nora is trying to alter the timeline to get out of his death sentence.

I loved this one. I'm not down on the show like everyone else, but it was definitely a highlight of the season. I also agree that Godspeed seems like a character we'll see again. It would have been a waste as a villain of the week. That suit was badass. Seeing the origins of Nora and this storyline play out was great.

I didn't mind that Iris would dampen her powers (mama protecting her baby isn't that out there), I do have a problem with Papa Jo and Cecile and everyone else being complicit in the lie.

Lastly, we never saw how she got the name XS, did we? I was hoping her best friend would have pulled it out at the end before she died, giving Nora an even stronger push to be a hero speedster. Although, Hot Flash was kinda funny.

If you believe the rumors, Grant Gustin and Danielle Panabaker have had issues with Candace Patton. If she wasn't a primary character, I think Candace would have been written off the show.
