I've written the whole CW off and moved on. Plenty of other watchable superhero shows on the streaming services.

Seems like all the good writers have gone to the DCU service.

Is this really a thing? Or are you just making that up out of frustration?

Dvdtalk has become the "I ONLY HATE WATCH!!!" and "I'M DONE WITH THIS SHOW!!!" Old Sausagefest Forum. It's so fuckin' sad. They can't pull any kind of fun out these shows anymore and it's not just the fault of the shows.

Supergirl's producers pandered to the worst of social media in the show's swift and remarkable decline once it left CBS. Arrow producers caved to fan pressure on Twitter and other outlets putting Felicity and Oliver together the first time. That was never in the show's original plans.
Eric is 100% correct about these DC shows and their current sad state. It would be different if Flash or Arrow were never good shows, but the drop-off has been steep from their glory days. If I close my eyes, Flash remains decent most of the time if you ignore the mostly lame Big Bads.

Up until early this season I was still praising Black Lightning as being the only good CW show then all of a sudden it turned to shit. What happened?

I've been watching since the beginning and never noticed any drop. But I never thought they were that amazing to begin with. They're satisfying trash television.
Legends is the only one that got really good over time. It's currently the best and most fun by a mile.
