I hope you're right. I just don't see how they would tie together her travels with what's happening now with the zombies and Cersie. Maybe her and Hound can take out zombie-Mountain together on the battlefield or something. What else can they really do with her? Hell, she never even finished her list.

Just because she's currently in Winterfell, doesn't mean she stays there.

Not having some follow through on completing the list would be piss poor storytelling.

Only 5 episodes left and the zombie army is headed towards Winterfell. I don't think we'll be moving from that area much at all other than to see the Lanisters make their way north. There's no time left for her to take off and start a new adventure.

Unfortunately, this has been the case for a couple of years now.

I know. It's starting to become real now that the season has started an I'm seeing all the characters again. Isn't Cerci's last kid still in Highgarten? Will we ever see/hear from them again?

Varys crossed the Narrow Sea twice in a single episode. There’s plenty of time. The Battle Of Winterfell is Episode 3 so there will be time for her to head south after that.

What happened to the youngest who was being held there? I don't recall.

Her daughter? She was the middle child. Wasn't in Highgarden. She was in Dorne. And she was killed by Ellaria with the poison lipstick on her way back to King's Landing when Jamie came for her.

Shows how much I remember of the "post-book" story. Maybe I should have read a refresher of some type.

Golden crowns were their shrouds.

And I could still see Arya taking out Cersei.

Me too. If we need to tie it together with her training, then she can use a mask and pose as Jamie to do it.

Even if she kills major characters during the "final battle" (however it plays out) I still feel it's a giant waste of all the years of build up on her character from training as a kid to becoming a faceless; with all the travels in-between. All of that story seems to be throw away for the ending with the potential exception that she's a good fighter now. Hope I'm wrong.

My biggest laugh of the episode was Sansa saying that Joffrey's wedding had it's moments.

We have been seeing some of that training pay off, like when she assassinated the Frey's I think it was. A lot of the others on her list just already happen to be dead. Who's left? The hound and cercei? Arya probably isn't going to square off against the Hound, so leaving her role as an infiltrator into king's landing could be a satisfying payoff...depending on goal/mission.

Since S7 introduced warp speed and teleportation, this shoudn't be a problem.

I don't think this will happen because I believe Jaime will kill Cercei.

Any one else get the vibe that Jon is going to have to kill Danny? Especially after the scene in the crypt. That would make for one hell of a plot twist this season but there is no way they could do that, could they?

Book speculation below:
Spoiler:
It would also fufill the Lord of Light prophecy where the lord of light thrusts his sword into his lovers heart to forge his sword. well something along those lines, I don't remember the exact prophecy.

The purple wedding had its moments. Come on that was a good line.

The meeting of Sansa and Tyrion was lack-luster as well. That could have been a big scene.
Arya went to Gendry to have him make her a spear with dragonglass. I assume she will be the one to take out the ice dragon.

Or she takes out him to do it, the show has already brought up the possibility that she is the PTWP.

My money is on the Hound. I mean, the prophecy never said who's "little brother" it has to be. And I still want to see that Mountain/Hound confrontation.

THIS I can maybe believe. I've seen that said before. But saying the dialog sucks because of the budget to distract?...Yeah, well...
