Can't Pay, We'll Take It Away - British series
I don't know if this is available to be watched on TV in North America, but I have been guiltily watching episodes of this British documentary show on Youtube for a couple of days.
The show follows debt collectors in the U.K., who go around with high-court writs collecting property and evicting non-paying renters. The show is very entertaining, but it's morally questionable, as it tends to exploit the poor and non-white. On the other hand, very few of the subjects are innocent and pitiable; most are scofflaws. Below are three "violence" specials that compile some of the series's more explosive assignments: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Il0_A8IQExg" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3Bo5qqXWm2o" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MuCbfOqqx8A" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
