 That was a fun ep. Always fun seeing Grodd and King Shark. Joe!

Wait, Joe took the baby to Tibet?

It might show how far the show has fallen with fans when King Shark AND Gorilla Grodd ,in the same episode no less, receives a muted response.
It was fun but that was a weak explanation for Joe’s absence. I guess Iris’s PTS was a way to give him some screen time.

Fun episode. Wish they’d abandon the Cicada stuff and just go back to a more villain of the week approach - they’ve still never done a proper Flash vs Rogues arc and it would be a lot of fun I’d think.

Uhm, maybe the "muted response" is just here. I see lots a excitement in other places like social media.

Still haven't watched the episode myself. Wasn't in any hurry to get to it. This past week I binged The Haunting of Hill House and Origin. Today I started The Expanse. So I'll get to the Flash episode later, lol.

Yeah it's 100% this forum.

Well this is still my preferred place. I try to minimize my time on Facebook and Twitter and all social media in general. Compared to previous Flash seasons and even the latest Orville thread the response here is more definitely more muted.

I greatly prefer the muted (I'd call it "mature") response here as opposed to the overblown hyperbole of any TV show subreddit.

I’m more referring to the volume of responses not the content. In the past we would be on page three by now.I too much prefer the mature natural of this forum. It’s probably because most of us here are demographicly (at least age wise) similar. The Luke Perry thread renforces that.

That was badass. Grodd is the highlight of any season. I get a goofy smile when I know he'll be back. King Shark is a bonus. They just need to blow out the budget next year and make Grodd the full on villain of the season. He's far better than Cicada or Devoe.

Great to see Jessie Martin back even if the explanation was kinda weak.

That was a decent episode. Newborn baby Joe is away with Wally in Tibet? Did I get that right? If true, that would be weird.

Did anyone think Jesse Martin appeared heavily medicated in this episode?

Re: The Flash (S5E15) -- "King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd" -- 3/5/19

No, Joe took the baby with him and brought him back. In Joe's first scene the baby wakes up crying and Joe goes to get up and Cecile stops him and said he's been on baby duty long enough and she left the room to tend to it.

I must have missed that. I have baby blindness.

I was going to post that. Martin looks like he's really uncomfortable due to the back pain. I guess he hasn't fully recovered from his injuries.

This was a fun episode though. The King Shark vs Grodd fight was awesome.

Good episode with some fun moments, it's episodes like this one why Flash is still the most popular Arrowverse show by far. A lot of rumors flying around about big cast changes to Flash next season.

For a TV show, the FX weren't too bad, not perfect , but decent

It's rumored that King Shark is going to be in the Suicide Squad sequel. It'll be interesting to see the CGI comparison.

Totally. I've started using the TV Time app to keep up with shows, since I stream everything now. There is a great community there, since each show has it's own comment section .

I think they blew most of the season's VFX budget on this episode. That battle between King Shark and Grodd ran much longer than I anticipated. It may be the longest FX-heavy scene we've gotten on an Arrowverse show.
