Christian Serratos is so clearly wearing a wig on Talking Dead. What is up?

Am I the only one that wants Henry dead?

I was cheering when Lydia had the knife.

But since he's playing the Carl role now (thanks Gimple for killing off Carl) he won't die.

Henry's the new Carl in being annoying, but doesn't have the roots and history that Carl had. Carl dying was a big deal - keeping Henry around does nothing for the show but irritate viewers.

The love triangle came out of nowhere, lasted a total of 10 minutes across 2 episodes - and I guess it's resolved now? I'm glad it's already (hopefully) over, but why bring it up in the first place?

So I guess Aaron has a kid now? Who's the mother? Is he straight now?

Another mention of the upcoming fair.

How much you want to bet that the Whisperer conflict comes to a head while the fair is going down?

Obviously, season finale will be the fair, a big conflict will happen but it'll end the season with a cliff hanger to make people wait till Fall to find out what really happened.

I don't read the comics but I've heard multiple people refer to the fair as the "The Red Wedding" of the Walking Dead.

If by that they mean a lot of important characters die, I'm not sure it will apply much here. Outside of Michonne, Daryl and Carol - there's no one else left who's really anywhere near important enough. I can't see them killing off more than 1 of those 3 - and even that's a long shot since it's slim-pickings for characters on this show.

I bet the producers are hoping Maggie's new show fails miserably and gets cancelled ASAP.

Can't wait for Uncle Fester to be killed. Can't stand that annoying voice.

If ratings and being from WB...she’ll be back soon enough

Gracie was the baby they acquired during the Saviors conflict.

I honestly can't remember that. I'm sure it happened though, as I've missed a lot of smaller details in the show since I'm usually doing something else while watching.
So what's going on with Rick? Haven't seen him in a while. ;)

Taking a helicopter ride.... that was the last episode i watched, still check in this thread and hope to hear the show got back on track but I have zero interest in the week to weaker episodes any longer. ;)

I didn't know who the girl was either, but my wife picked up on it almost immediately. Made sense.

Rick? He's making TWD movies in England. ;)

They will offer him a lot of money to come back to GA and make more episodes once he has his fill of being home, if he wants to and if the show survives.

I'm not certain, but I think it was the baby in a crib that Rick sort of stumbled upon when he was making his way through a Sanctuary outpost looking for a weapons stash. Her dad attacked Rick who then dispatched him and he brought the baby out rather than abandon it. I guess later Aaron got hold of her somehow.

 If an opinion falls in the forest, is it a mute?

I guess my opinion is "moot" because I do other things while watching TWD - and I can miss things because of that. But I started doing that a few seasons ago because the quality has gotten worse and there was a lot of pointless dialog, etc. So I guess my opinion was valid for the first 6 seasons, but not now? That logic is quite flawed.

Anyway, I remember the kid now that someone's reminded me of Rick finding the kid at the outpost - if in fact that's the kid.

Re: The Walking Dead (S9E12) -- "Guardians" -- 3/3/19

I’ll say it again ... this half season started stronger, but this was another “did nothing for me” episode that regressed into echoes of Gimple ... Gimple ... Gimple ...

The Whisperers story line is going nowhere interesting in a ... well, not in any hurry. Completely unrelated, but I can see how the lady from FTWD could have been ported over as Alpha. While Samantha Morton is great with what she is being given, I think that would have been more effective and interesting.

The alleged romance between Rosita, Gabriel, Siddiq, and Eugene is unbearable. It would actually be nice to see some character development for a change. Instead, we just get told about things that are retconned/supposedly happened ... Jerry’s baby, this love quadrangle, Rick and Michonne having a baby (did you forget? They showed him asleep in bed this week!) ... Rick’s wife being eaten whole by a zombie ... where did Oceanside go (what Oceanside?) ....

Did I ever mention that Gabriel and Eugene are two of the most insufferable twats and biggest wastes of characters on the show? When did the priest become a sex machine? How does a priest become a sex machine? Only TWD ...

The only good part was the return of Judith and her just destroying Michonne verbally.

I actually did forget.

I think the time-jump was a big mistake - at least making the time-jump so huge. Let 6-12 months pass - not 6 years.
It's especially dumb when all the characters look exactly the same except for some hairstyle changes. No-one's aged after 6 years.

In the early seasons of FTWD, when Nick was covering himself with zombie crud and out wandering around with the walkers, I was seriously thinking that that crew would end up being the Whisperers in TWD proper. Madison would become Alpha (though she didn’t have a daughter in the right age range to be a romantic foil for Carl) and Nick would, possibly, be Beta.
