I liked what I saw of Jeremiah, too, but have never binged it all.

Damn I don't remember her.

I think Jim Carrey did a Luke Impression if my memory serves me correct. I can't find it at all on YouTube but I remember In Living Color they made fun of 90210.

My David Letterman "Brush with Greatness" story: I very briefly met Jennie Garth while working front desk at a hotel in Orlando back in 1991. My Luke Perry hairstyle didn't work on her, might have had something to do with me working a minimum wage front desk job ($4.25 an hour baby!).

I always thought he was underrated due to the 90210 stigma. I really hope he gets better.

Man I used to sport a mean mane myself. Holy shit I reflect back and wonder wtf was I thinking. I guess that is part of growing old you look back and laugh at those innocent moments. Good memories.

He also had a bit part in The Fifth Element - at the very beginning.

I never watched those teen shows, but I remember him from the movie "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", which is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. Hope he recovers.

I watched the show with my sister... and my dad, and if you knew my dad, you'd be shocked that he would give such a show the time of day. It was cheap, lowbrow trash for all of us, I guess, though my sis had crushes on Priestley and Perry.
Doesnt anyone remember him on Oz? He was on for around 3 seasons. Even did full frontal!

The first time I've seen him since the 90210 thing ended was in the HBO show "John from Cincinnati".

That show was cancelled after the first season, and rightfully so. It was horrible.

Ah, yes! I had completely forgotten that he was on Oz. Didn't he play a preacher?

I had also forgotten about his stint on OZ. I believe he did play a religious inmate/cult-leader of some kind, but the prison's preacher was played by an Asian actor.

That's something I'd like to see. Carrey does excellent impressions.

Was she at least amiable? She certainly didn't have a bad reputation like that other one, Doherty, who never lived down her reputation as a mega-bitch.

That was Father Mukada, a priest played by BD Wong who was a chaplain who worked in the prison.

Luke Perry played an inmate who was a preacher convicted of embezzlement.

Who could forget his stint on The Simpsons?

I have somehow been attributed with Cultshock's post. I have not met Jennie Garth, though I do recall finding her to be the most attractive member of the show.

Oh, and you're correct... There was an Asian preacher on Oz, as well.

I don't know, Butchie, instead.

I was angry at the show, as I felt it 'stole' Milch's time from Deadwood, but I did watch it and found it entertaining. Very strange, but entertaining.

re: Luke Perry (90210, Riverdale) suffers "massive stroke" [Update: Dead at 52]

According to The River 105.9, the representative, Arnold Robinson, has indicated that Luke Perry is still hospitalized and being observed.

“Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital,” the rep said.

Unfortunately, no further details about Luke Perry’s health have been revealed. While there have been multiple reports about Luke’s health since he had the stroke days ago, his rep has yet to confirm anything else.

Yes, that's right. His was one of the more sympathetic characters on the show, along with the one played by the great Rita Moreno.

When they were being a little guarded about details, you knew it wasn't good.
