Only one episode left and I've enjoyed it. I don't think it carries the overall intensity of S1 but it has been very solid. Mahershala is just exceptional. The Harrison James moment seems like it is similar in purpose to Marty offing Ledoux in S1E05. Not quite as intense, though, as I don't know that anyone didn't see it coming as Wayne was removing the cuffs.
I hope the series continues at some point. I love the gritty feel and T Bone Burnett always brings it with the music. |

This show has been stellar so far... slow but incredibly engaging.

I've enjoyed it as well - even if everything has pretty much been paint-by-numbers and relatively predictable.

This season has been a slow burn in capital letters but I've enjoyed every second of it. Someone should find a way to give an Oscar to Ali for this performance instead of Green Book. The acting, writing and direction have been stellar from top to bottom. Just a joy to watch.

Enjoyed Ep 7 but...kinda feel like this season bit off more than what 8 episodes could possibly take care of. Should be 10 episodes from watching Ep 7.
It's really too bad there couldn't be a part of an episode where all 4 detectives compare notes at one point in time (S1 and S3 detectives). |

I think the Hoyt people kill Amelia because she doesn't back off, and threaten Wayne's kids will die too if he pursues the case further. Hope this isn't the way it ends, as I still prefer his wife being in on the killing and strikes a deeper thriller chord than the typical power players.
Also, I think series will flow better when watched all together. Might even make more sense, who knows. Week by week is difficult. |

Rust and Chole! Man this season is good. Not quite on par as season 1, but the performances are stellar.

And running directly opposite the Oscars -- the same Oscar ceremony where Mahershala Ali is all but certain to win his second Best Supporting Actor award.

Especially since because of the structure of how the time line is presented, where a lot of repetition of vague or similar information happens throughout. |
