I'm aware of who Halsey is, but I'm pretty surprised she would be regarded as a big enough music star to also be hosting.

I only know that song she did with the Chainsmokers but, from the info on her wiki bio, she is a pretty interesting person.

This might be the first time I never heard of a musical guest who's also hosting. They're usually popular enough to do double-duty - which means they're popular enough for me to know who they are.

Her music did nothing for me, but she seemed very natural and comfortable in the skits. She did better than most actual actors who've hosted.

This was the first episode I think I've seen where the cue cards were plainly visible in a sketch. I'm sure it must have happened before though.

Thats me where everybody says I look like I am in my 20's though I am 45.

I don't think her presence lifted any sketches and she was just there.

Halsey was great but a lot of the skits were me, even the cold open was pretty bad. I think one of the biggest misses of the show was the Democrats in congress skit, the intro went on forever and the tiny bit after with McTrump taking credit for more women in congress was lame.
