That was nuts. Amazing what a quick turn as a director in the Marvel Universe can do for your friends list. It didn't register until reading about it this morning that all those cameos were the actors reprising vampire roles they had played in previous films. I sure as heck didn't remember Paul Reubens being in the Buffy movie.

I'm glad this wasn't spoiled for me since all of the cameo reveals were hilarious. And if there's one thing I remembered from the Buffy movie, it was Paul Reubens' death scene:

Just WOW! Great episode! It was nice to see the old gang (from the original mockumentary) as well as the other cameos, though they were just a bonus as there were plenty of laughs regardless. Really well done episode all the way around.

This has easily been the nicest surprise of the Spring tv season. I wasn't expecting much but it has had some truly funny episodes, rare among today's line-up of dull comedies.

What We Do in the Shadows

Just started watching this on Hulu ... loving it! I was afraid it was going to retread the movie too much (two identical characters), but it has done a great job being its own thing despite hitting some of the same beats.
