I had to look that one up. Sounds like one hell of a season if we get any recognizable version of this story.

Yeah if DC is loosening the reigns on characters, that will be awesome.

That kid is right Nora is a liar and she's also super mean to her mom and I'd be super disappointed in her as her father even if she can run real fast

What exactly is Nora's purpose in the present? I hope there's more to it than she's hanging around to change her unhappy childhood.

She made a comment about using the AI to stop Cicada. I think she is pulling a "Thanos" in that she has good intentions but her path/method is fucked up.

In the video in the Flash museum the police chief said that Cicada came back again in 2024 even after Flash killed him. I guess from what we saw in the daughter's coma was that Nora caused the daughter to become the next Cicada. She had dark matter in her brain.

At least that's what I got from it.

No, the little girl IS Cicada. She's controlling her uncle, and apparently controls someone else in the future.

If you're right I'll give you a cookie. I'm not so sure- the uncle has a fragment of dark matter in his chest as well and appears to be aware of what he's doing.

I had the biggest laugh this episode that I’ve had all season, over Iris’ big brainwave of starting a newspaper in the year 2019. As a journalist who’s gone through an infinity gauntlet of layoffs and staff cuts in the past decade or so, that was HI-larious. ;)

Yeah. I was thinking to myself, what Millennial is going to start a newspaper, much less read one?

Are the writers that out of touch?

I think you just gave away the season's big reveal.

In a world where superheros exist this may be the most unbelievable plot point of all. It would be one thing if it was a re-imagined present reality in which smart phones didn't exist but that's clearly not the case. With any luck Iris will fall so far down the rabbit hole of union negotiations and board of directors pressure that we'll never see her again.

Nope, the episode telegraphed it.

This episode seemed like a comlete ripoff of the Smallville episode Fracture. Clark entered Lex's mind and met young Lex who led him around Lex's memories. The exit kept changing which kept Clark trapped.

Interesting theory Jason.

The reveal would be if it's the doctor or nurse he talks to.

BTW, I just found out Morena Baccarin is Gideon the other day. That was a big, "wow" moment and I felt like an idiot that it took this long to figure it out.
