I really like the mind-wipe thing. Anything that re-establishes secret identities on these shows, I'm all in favor of. Sadly it seems like they're going to undo it pretty quickly. And of course she revealed her secret identity to someone else in this very episode. But whatever!

Good Ep. People are asking about the fact that Nia was physically born a boy but later transitioned and how she still got the "female based' ability. If one believes she was truly a Female born in the wrong body then it makes perfect sense.
One thing I never liked in the CW shows is how they make flying Metas fly. I'm guessing it's cheaper to have Kara blast off and zoom back for a hero landing instead of a nice float upwards with a hover then come back down. That would look so much cooler.

The actor has to hang in a harness for that floating effect, which takes time. It's virtually no work at all for the blast-off and landing. Producers cave all the time to these CW actors making demands.
One of the reasons why these DC shows on the CW have been ditching their superhero costumes whenever possible is that actors complain about wasting time in wardrobe, especially the busy leads.
