Yeah, kinda all of it. I mean, initially, when you hear about MJ being like this, you don't think of the specifics, you just go "ew", but with this doc, which hits you in the face with specifics you go "ew"x1,000, not to mention the human impact of it all by putting a face to the victims.

I found this website titled "The Michael Jackson Allegations" ( https://themichaeljacksonallegations.com )
It has a good critical analysis of "Leaving Neverland" and the lack of credibility of its 2 accusers ( LINK ), particularly Wade Robson.
It's sad that people who think they are siding with "victims" are actually siding with liars who seem to be smearing someone's name for personal gain, but that is the world we apparently live in now with a kangaroo court of public opinion trumping the concept that accusers bear the burden of proof and someone is innocent until proven guilty.

I was never a fan of MJ's music. In fact, I really hated it - even when Thriller was first released.
However, if I did like it - I doubt his being a piece of shit would stop me from listening.

Corey Feldman is not defending him anymore

If I love the music and then later it comes out that the person was a pedophile - then I'll make sure that not a single penny of my money goes towards that artist again, but I'll continue to listen to the music that I already enjoyed. But i wouldn't give the artist a chance if I found out he was a pedophile before I heard the music.

If a 30+ year old man wants to share his bed with your 8 year old son - I guess you'd let that happen because you can't assume he's a pedophile because that would be labelling him guilty before having any proof.
I don't need a trial to tell me anything - Jackson's guilty as fuck and was a piece of shit.

Yup, exactly. I'm only half-way through and it's certainly way too detailed, compelling and corroborated to be dismissed on "credibility" concerns. I swear these deniers are finding the articles and You Tube links and convincing themselves it's all lies so they don't "have to" watch the program. And I don't blame them for not wanting to watch - it's tough even for people who are only semi-interested in his music. And it's so weird that both stories start out like Fairy Tales. You can totally imagine how the families were taken in, wowed. It must have been like a Dream Come True... until it turned into a pornographic nightmare. Jeffrey Wells in that article I posted called this doc a "talking-head horror movie" and that is exactly what it is.
Being in Vegas I can't help wonder how this will affect the MJ Cirque Du Soleil show "One" which was the second-most popular of their seven shows on the Strip. It can't be good for their business going forward. Who, after watching that documentary, will ever want to spend $150/ticket to take their family for a wholesome night of this :

Jackson's Simpsons appearance is being pulled from circulation.
Hollywood Reporter
Executive producer James L. Brooks, creator Matt Groening and showrunner Al Jean collectively made the decision to pull the episode from recirculation after they watched the HBO documentary 'Leaving Neverland

There's some things I can look over in an artist's life, because no one is perfect. But molesting and raping little boys, I can't get past that. The parents of the children are just as guilty as MJ IMO. Who in there right mind would let their little kids spend so much time with a grown man? It's sickening. I hope the money, cars and gifts were worth ruining their children's lives forever.

If I'm not mistaken, weren't both these kids parents involved in extortion of MJ? I believe there were taped phones calls, no?
Plus, didn't both these kids change their stories on several occasions? At one time adamantly denying the accusations when they were older.
I'm simply asking. I can remember these kids going away after being paid....well the parents getting paid anyway.

Petition calls for cancellation of Michael Jackson show on Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The allegations against Michael Jackson in HBO's new documentary "Leaving Neverland" are serious.
In the two-part film which premiered on the network Sunday night, Wade Robson and James Safechuck describe their childhood experiences with Jackson in graphic detail, saying Jackson groomed and manipulated them and their families.
The fallout from the film has found its way to Vegas, with many calling for an end to the many shows that honor the King of Pop.
Among the biggest, a Care2 petition demanding Mandalay Bay to cancel its Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show.
"We're excited to see people from all around the world who also probably love Michael Jackson's music and agree that it's time to have this tough conversation about whether we're honoring a man that maybe doesn't deserve the honor," said Rebecca Gerber, director of advocacy and engagement for Care2.
Gerber also said she understands people's love for Jackson's music, but she hopes Mandalay Bay will consider all victims of abuse.
Many locals and tourists agree it's a sensitive discussion that needs to be had.
"It's not really focused on his personal life," said one tourist. "It's focused more on what he did as an artist and in the industry so while the accusations are coming out; I don't think until there's concrete proof you can really take away from his other accomplishments while he was alive."
13 Action News reached out to Mandalay Bay and Cirque du Soleil for comment.
Cirque said in a statement it was unable to comment at this time because of the current legal proceedings involving one of its partners.

The second part covers Wade Robsons experiences when he moved to the U.S. and interviews with their wifes who were not interviewed in part 1.
Not sure how valuable those Simpsons dvds will be when people want blu-rays or stream everything.

Can anyone explain Hulu to me? They claim to have the doc available. I signed for the free trial because I really wanted to see this, but once you sign up it says you have to pay $14 for HBO. How can they claim to have it when they don’t?

Re: HBO's Michael Jackson Documentary Leaving Neverland
Sam Simon told the story about MJ and The Simpson’s on Howard Stern years ago. The creepiest thing about it is that MJ reaches out to them, said he loved the show, and wanted to be a part of an episode. The plot he insisted on was the whole “stay up all night with Bart trying to write a song.” Simon said MJ was insistent that plot point be in the episode. It seemed like he wanted to spend the night with Bart, just like he spent the night with so many real boys.
And for those of you who were younger, understand that Bart was an absolute phenomenon at this time. It wasn’t about the ensemble, it wasn’t about Homer. Bart had a music video (that I think MJ has some involvement in), an endorsement deal with candy, and he was on all the merchandise. He was the most popular boy in America and MJ wanted him. Just like he wanted Macaulay Culkin.

As someone who hasn't watched this, and don't take this as a defense...BUT if this doc is so damning, detailed and convincing why wasn't he prosecuted while he was alive?

Civil actions were filed against him by accusers. MJ settled with them for very large undisclosed amounts.
After Martin Bashir’s doc “Living with Michael Jackson”, Santa Barbara County filed criminal actions against him. You can’t settle in that situation. In went to trial. The problem was that the SB DA couldn’t find the smoking gun. They couldn’t prove beyond reasonable doubt. The subjects of this new doc weren’t willing to cooperate at that time.

During this time MJ created a series of things intended to rehabilitate his image as “Wacko Jacko”. The Simpsons being one example. Not only did they not succeed, they were extremely alarming.
He created this short film with several major contributors.

Re: HBO's Michael Jackson Documentary Leaving Neverland
Starting around minute 5 there is some incredible double entendres dialogue. The whole thing has a vibe of normalizing his eccentric behavior and dismissing anything negative about his spending time with children.
