It’s not the greatest show out there but my wife keeps rewatching and I find myself drawn in. Especially when Malkovich is onscreen.

It's 7 episodes of decent comedy that's not laugh out loud funny at any point. So, better than season 1, but so short that it's over almost before it gets started. A real waste of talent and ressources.

Judging by Netflix viewing data, it's probably over with either way.

(It managed 12m hours of viewing its first week then fell off the list, by comparison what I assume to be much cheaper Is It Cake pulled 48.9m hours in its first week and Bridgerton S2 had 193m hours.)

We watched most of it so far, there's some funny stuff but you really feel the budget was cut. Malkovich continues to outshine everybody and the daughter gets some nice moments to shine.

I thought I commented already in this thread post season 2 debut, but I breezed through the second season on a Friday evening the weekend it was released. It was a fun watch and I wish it was not over with so quickly. At least if this was it I enjoyed what we got.

This was an amazing cast with some fun stories but they never got to a critical mass where it was considered “must see TV”.

It was clear the budget was cut for S2 and that probably made their chances worst as they couldn’t take the chances like they did in the first season.

I was actually getting invested in what Erin was going to do in her gap year.

We made it through 3 episodes and didn't like it at all, considering the cost for Carell alone surprised it made it two seasons.

Didn't even know season 2 was being made or had already come out. I enjoyed the first one enough to watch the second. I'll have to watch a Youtube recap of the first season because I don't remember too much about it now that it's been so long.

This one being cancelled isn’t exactly a big surprise and not tied to the common Netflix problem of prematurely cancelling shows. It wasn’t that great and never caught on in spite of having a big star as the lead.
