Is this actually gonna be a multi-season series given the premise?

It's on Showtime, so it will probably run out of ideas after two seasons but still run for eight.

Holy shit that first episode was awesome! I'm a sucker for Wall Street stuff though. Hope it can keep this up!

I thought the first episode was great. Good use of music.

Is nobody else watching this? I think it's friggin' hilarious! Nice touch adding some serious moments too (the daughter buying her mom's paintings).

I watched the latest episode and decided about mid-way that I'd had enough. The characters are a bit too cartoonish (especially Rannells) and the tone too relentlessly negative for me to invest in.

Enjoyed the show throughout, but the last episode was honest a bit of a letdown to me. Guess the show is a one and done, judging by the way everything ended.

Re: Black Monday (Showtime) S: Cheadle, Hall, Rannells, Scheer; EP: Rogen, Goldberg

Season one of the series followed Maurice "Mo" Monroe (Cheadle) as he and his group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of 1987 Wall Street, ultimately leading to the largest stock market crash in history, AKA Black Monday. Friends became enemies, traders became traitors, and two people became dead. This season focuses on the aftermath: As we begin, Dawn (Hall) and Blair (Rannells) are the bosses now, quickly learning that heavy is the head that wears the crown, especially when that head is constantly looking over its shoulder for Mo, who's on the run with Keith (Scheer). Who will go down for the crash? Who will go down for the murders? Who will go down for fleecing Mo? All will be revealed in season two. Starring Don Cheadle. Watch the season premiere on on Sunday, March 15th at 10/9c only on SHOWTIME.

I'm binging this now via Showtime Anytime since it's in 4K Dolby Vision. Man, it's fucking hysterical! I'm only 3 episodes in and it rocks!

FYI, if you get to season two it got shutdown before they had finished filming all the episodes so they've only aired the first six.

Yeah, I figured something went down, because it says on the menu that the rest of season starts back up next month.

Wow, season 1 was fucking awesome. I think I'm going to hold off watching S2 until next month when the rest of the episodes will be released. This shit is a binge at its finest!

I liked season 1 but season 2 I thought was pretty bad but I only watched two episodes.

I was wondering what happened to it.
