Black Monday (Showtime) S: Cheadle, Hall, Rannells, Scheer; EP: Rogen, Goldberg

The series stars and is executive produced by Emmy(R) nominated and Golden Globe winning actor Don Cheadle and stars two-time Tony Award nominee and Grammy(R) winner Andrew Rannells (Girls) and Regina Hall (Girls Trip). Paul Scheer (The League) also stars. BLACK MONDAY was created by David Caspe (Happy Endings) and Jordan Cahan (My Best Friend's Girl), who will serve as executive producers and showrunners. Emmy nominees Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Preacher, Superbad, Future Man) are executive producers and directed the pilot. The 10-episode series will premiere on Sunday, January 20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. BLACK MONDAY takes viewers back to October 19, 1987 - aka Black Monday. To this day, no one knows who "caused it" ... until now. It's the fictional story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world's largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine and the glass ceiling.

Is this actually gonna be a multi-season series given the premise?

It's on Showtime, so it will probably run out of ideas after two seasons but still run for eight.

Holy shit that first episode was awesome! I'm a sucker for Wall Street stuff though. Hope it can keep this up!

I thought the first episode was great. Good use of music.

Is nobody else watching this? I think it's friggin' hilarious! Nice touch adding some serious moments too (the daughter buying her mom's paintings).

I watched the latest episode and decided about mid-way that I'd had enough. The characters are a bit too cartoonish (especially Rannells) and the tone too relentlessly negative for me to invest in.

Enjoyed the show throughout, but the last episode was honest a bit of a letdown to me. Guess the show is a one and done, judging by the way everything ended.
