Didn’t like the family storyline again (another one?!), but the episode picked up in the last quarter with the porn virus and planet destruction.
They easily could have had another character upload a porn virus and spent more time with solving that. I don’t care who you are, that’s a fireable offense. Or the resignation should have been accepted. He almost killed the whole crew!

How many "The decision is final!" "But please?" "Oh all right, I suppose it's OK" moments were there? The refused resignation scene was ridiculous even for a comedy.

This is one of those episodes that will make some people question why they keep watching The Orville. I understand why it was held back.

Apparently this is a hold over from last season. If it aired closer to the primary episode it would have fit better.

I thought the funniest parts were the Moclan method of divorce, the marriage counseling, and just how unsexy Bortus' fantasies were.

The "drawing straws" method of picking who gets rescued was dumb given that the survivors are all that will carry on their entire civilization - so artists, historians, a good leader, or anyone who can preserve some important aspects of their civilization should get a guaranteed spot over a typical nobody, such as a hairdresser or a telephone sanitizer. Also young people should be picked over elderly people for the remaining spots just to make sure their society doesn't completely die out. It would've been smarter to let Isaac pick who gets rescued because he would've done it smartly, quickly, and had no remorse on if he make the right choices afterwards.
Or the traditional old school method of saving the "women and children" first

While there has been no official word about changes in the main cast, it has become apparent that Halston Sage’s Alara Kitan will not be present for the entire second season. She will definitely appear in the early episodes, including one titled “Home” featuring a visit to her home planet of Xeleya and the return of Star Trek: Voyager alumnus Robert Picardo playing her father.
There will, however, be a new character: Talla Keyali played by Jessica Szohr, who (like Kitan) is also Xelayan and a security officer on board the USS Orville. Sage was in production on the Netflix film Last Summer during much of the time the second season of The Orville was being shot, and it isn’t clear at this time if she will return to the show. Details on how they’ll transition between Alara and Talla are unknown, but speaking to TrekMovie at SDCC executive producer David A. Goodman said, “I think you are going to be intrigued to see what we do with both of those characters. I don’t want to spoil it, but it is unexpected.”

Yes, it sure seemed like they could fit 75 people on that shuttle if they threw out the chairs. It might be crowded, but that’s smaller than an 8x10 grid of bodies, and even then, there were a number of kids. Even if you had to pack in there sardines for the ride, it’s still better than the alternative.
There might have been weight restrictions of some kind, but, aside from “The Galileo Seven,” it doesn’t seem to be much of a problem in Star Trek.
