If I'm remembering this correctly, Peacock had a toy dog (or a dog figure) in his video, and didn't Donny Osmond have a hit in his Teen Idol days with "Puppy Love". I don't know about "Monster", but of the two, Vanilla Ice has been doing a home-rehab Reality Show for a while.

I think the judges probably knew that Ryan Reynolds appeared on the Korean version of this show, so they're probably thinking that celebrities of that level could be doing the show in the U.S.

I HATE, dvdtalk "I Have Zero Interest in This Show" posts.... but I don't. That said, I LOVE the costumes and have considered tuning in just for that. They are very cool.

I hadn't heard this. It reminds of the days, -and perhaps it still goes on, -when big-name actors would do foreign commercial for big money, -that they would NEVER do in The States, -because they figured it would never be seen here.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

Sorry, I got my Ryans mixed up. It was actually Ryan Reynolds who did the Masked Singer in Korea, not Gosling. Still a pretty big name. I'm not sure how different the format of the show there is, but it looks like he may have just made a one time special appearance and wasn't an ongoing singer.

Re: The Masked Singer (FOX) -- celebrity singing game show

Reynolds was promoting his movie Deadpool and it was a one and done. The song he sang related to the movie. Maybe they can get Beyonce or Lady Gaga to make an appearance on the Voice or American Idol but I doubt they would get an A-List singer to dress up like a bird or a monster outfit. The stars they can get are on the caliber of whoever shows up on Dancing with the Stars.

Here’s a link to Terry Bradshaw singing with a Christian folk band a few years back... I could see him as The Deer.

Can Rumor Willis sing?

peacock is a Magician?
David Copperfield is probably too old for this.

deer has to be Payton Manning or a former Dallas Cowboy or as someone else mentioned Bradshaw or Brett Favre.

mannerisms seem Bradshaw. Is Javelin track and field?
”While at Woodlawn, he set a national record for throwing the javelin 245 feet”

“During the early part of his career with the Steelers, Bradshaw was a used car salesman during the off-season to supplement his income”

nothimg about horses though unless thats a misdirect and it refers it refers to horses of a car engine.

I know this show is total nonsense but I’m digging it. It’s fun trying to figure the singers identity

They really messed up if they didn't get William Shatner to do this show, and it doesn't appear they did.

Yes, she can... and yes, that’s our vote. The Willis kids hail from Hailey, ID. It’s got to be her.

... and The Peacock can only be Donny Osmond.

I've been thinking that, but someone brought up magic, and some dramatic roles, and his theatrical gesturing ...and that suggests Neil Patrick Harris.

Neil Patrick Harris is my guess for the Peacock as well. He was the president for The Magic Castle at one time, Doogie Howser when he was young and the posters on the wall. He's been in broadway musicals.

Dollars to donuts, it's Donny Osmond. Child star, part of a big family singing group, teen heart throb, "Joseph and the Amazing Techni-Color Dreamcoat", the long running "Donny and Marie Show", he did magic on their variety show and it was also a part of their Las Vegas act... it's Donny Osmond.

I'm pretty sure it's Osmond.

This scored another 2.2 (Demo Rating) with a little under 7m viewers live+sd, that's pretty impressive for anything anymore. The "play along at home" aspect is smart.

They are being judge for their singing & that is it.

You can see some short clips on You Tube.

An old co-worker who's done well for himself married one of the K-Pop singers that's on the Korean show.

What play along at home aspect? Did they add that this week? I haven't watched last night's episode yet, but there wasn't any play at home aspect that I recall during the first 2 weeks.
