I did not realize she was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer and lived almost ten years with it... #RIP

I remember a comedian remarking that "we went from film directors like Bergman, Fellini, and Coppola to Opie, Laverne, and Meathead."
But they're all talented directors AND actors. RIP, Laverne.

Big and Awakenings were great movies.
Riding in Cars with Boys was decent and a lot of people liked A League of their Own.
She was working on a Dennis Rodman doc that will come out next year.
Maybe it was her illness but she was not doing a lot of movies or her brand of comedy/drama was out of fashion in the 2000's.
