Northern Exposure Revival In The Works at CBS

A Northern Exposure revival is in the works at CBS with Rob Morrow attached to return with original creators Josh Brand and John Falsey on board as executive producers (Brand will pen the revival.) I really hope they pick this up and it doesn't get stuck in development purgatory. The original run is one of my top ten all time favorite shows.

Would love to me most of the cast return. Most of them seem like they would be available. And if they still were to film in around where I work I could get to know many of them again as well.

I am all for this. Wish it would get a blu-ray release of the original series but the music is in rights hell.

I don't think the show has ever been available for streaming either. I own all the DVD sets.

Wow, haven't watched (or thought of this show) in years, but always enjoyed it when it was on.

Yeah, the show was great and I have all the seasons on DVD. It is still enjoyable to watch, but the music edits diminish the brilliance of it. I so wish they could/would do a re-release with all the music intact.

Maybe, with any luck, the reboot could prompt something like that, if it's halfway successful.
