I honestly think this is the best season of Supergirl. Agent Liberty is great and it gives her a threat that she just cant punch away. I'm ready for Lex to show up too.

The Supergirl aspect is better than last year's Reign BS. But what they are doing with J'onn totally blows.

I wish they had left J'onn's Father around to help him become a more powerful character. Have him showing J'onn new things and unlocking more of his powers. This whole Ghandi/J'onn Bullshit is frustrating.

The Bad Guy this season is interesting  I'm interested in seeing how that woman sent to keep an eye on the team situation will pan out...

Agreed. If they do have Lex show up, it'd be nice to see a resolution of the Lena/Kara does she know or doesn't she know question. Though it was kind of amusing to see Kara try to get away from Lena so she could become Supergirl in an earlier episode this season.

Can't see Lex coming off as anything but a clown with Cryer playing him.

That's my concern, however, it will depend on how he's asked to portray the character and the material he's given. I'm sure Cryer knows this (unless he's totally disconnected or aloof) and he'll be interested in playing against type. That's my hope , anyway. I see the bigger problem as the showrunners.

I'm pretty sure Cryer was cast for no other reason than he played a character on Superman IV.

The CW has been drudging up all these past Superman-related actors for ratings periods every season as stunt casting.

As I said in the CW thread, Jon Cryer can't be worse than Jesse Eisenberg.
