Re: Haunted (Netflix) -- premieres 10/19/18
First episode was all well and good, but the second had me rolling my eyes. The bulk of the episode was about these women's dad being a SERIAL KILLER. This isn't people doing seances, it's an actual crime. Multiple MURDERS. Wouldn't we have heard about that in the news? Sure, don't call the cops when you're a kid because you're scared, but what about when you're older? Let them comb the property for the bodies. And the grandson throws away the "trophies" aka evidence? The mom admits to killing the dad... and then what?
I don't think "true story" means what the producers think it means.

I can't help but answer when every episode starts with "this is a true story": No it isn't!
Not a single one of them
Why do non-fiction ghost shows still exist?

The first episode was good, the second had me questioning, but by the time I finished the third my sense of reasoning had me tapping out.
