Mostly a villain of the week episode. It was nice seeing Erin Cummings play the villain.

The whole bonding issues with Iris, Barry and Nora was just weird. And it was weird how Nora keeps calling Barry Dad.

If I didn’t read the episode description, I wouldn’t have known Chris Klein was in this episode.

I'm just so tired of Nora already. This show just doesn't know how to handle Iris at all still.

Eh... I like Nora... But yes, they definitely don't know what to do with Iris AND now Cecile.

Still really like this show.

Their speed is always so all over the place. They don't even have to dodge the cubs because they are fast enough to handcuff her before she even blinks. (Yet that makes everything too easy and boring, even though they have showed them going that fast)

Is something wrong with Jesse Martin? In every single scene he's in, he's been sitting down.

His voice sounded off to me this episode, like he was trying to get over a cold.

Iris is still terrible and now they have made Cisco annoying. I also thought they were past doing these one-off meta episodes where they could never be a match for Barry.

But hey, at least the new "big bad" seems like somebody the other team should fear unlike the lame "Thinker" crap we got last season.

Agreed.

I love the relationship between Nora and Barry. Sort of takes me back to S1 with JWS.

They're getting better. She actually seems to have something like a life outside of Flash (even if it's reporting on stuff the Flash does).

Why do we think Nora's so cold to Iris? Maybe Iris became really withdrawn and distant after Barry disappeared and was a shitty mom?

That's the obvious conclusion.

Or maybe she hooked up with one of Flash's old villains and forced Nora to call him New Dad.

It seems everything Nora knows about Barry is from the Flash Museum. She also doesn’t seem to know Cisco, Caitlin, Wally, Joe or Ralph on a personal level. Maybe Team Flash was lost trying to find Barry and Nora blames Iris? She might be an orphan or virtual orphan if Iris spends all her time looking for Barry. Do we know who has the byline on the second news article?

Why do you all assume she's mad at Iris or anything? She grew up with Iris and never knew Barry... it makes sense she'd neglect the parent she's known forever to spend time with the one she's always idolized and wanted to meet.

Ralph is the best part of the show right now. Elongated Man spinoff incoming...

Cecile is a terrible character.

This show is getting really top heavy with characters. Joe needs to retire and move his new family to Florida, maybe Beach City in DC lingo.

It seems more than just "I already know you, so I'm going to spend more time with them."

From the look Nora gave Iris when she was self congratulating "Team West-Allen." It would at least imply that in the future Iris has moved on from Team West-Allen.

This is where I stood after the premier. After this episode, she was a little more stand-offish. There's definitely more going on.

I like Nora and this story so far. Iris was better since she was back to reporting.

Looking forward to the return of Wells... one of them anyway.

Maybe we'll get old man Wells from Nora's future.

I hope something kicks this season into gear. I'm not warming up to Nora, the Joe/Cecile storyline is beyond tiring, and the mopey Cisco storyline is really stretching the chemistry between the actors on Team Flash.

Not to mention the villain seems pretty generic.

Well the villain IS pretty generic because we know nothing about him. They'll get there.

It's Barry again from another alternate timeline.

Think smaller... Nora from another timeline!

We already saw the villain was Chris Klein, so it's obviously not one of the existing characters.
