I’m firmly in the Camp that outside WU with Amy Pohler, Seth Meyers is not funny. Not sure how this do is gonna turn out...unless he’s on WU and Bill Hader is within 100 yards of 30 Rock.

Paul Simon on the other hand, he rocks!

I did not understand what the campfire sketch with Mooney being this annoying guy who talks about movies.


I thought maybe the people around the fire were movie producers and did not want to hear what Kyle said since he probably had some original ideas about improving Hollywood

Both shorts were good. The Beta Force commercial reminded me of dudes at my gym.

I thought it was a terrible episode. I might have had a chuckle or two in a couple of skits and that's it.

Beta Force and the Cosby in jail skits were pretty good... everything else was awful.

Michael Che negotiated the use of 4 N-words in his contract this season... and he’s used one... oh dear.

... and I thought the Cosby jail sketch was good too.

I think Redd is a star in waiting and for the love of god, I do not understand the appeal of Pete Davidson. He's never funny. Ever. And now that Ariana broke up with him, I could see him being less funny.

Yes, Redd is good and so is Heidi Gardner. Poor Luke Null.

Pete Davidson's the Jimmy Fallon of this generation of cast, in that he breaks character in almost everything and laughs.

I like the monologues Davidson does on WU.


I don't know if he has any writing skills but he should come up with a character or characters and get more sketch time.

Fallon had Jarret about a pothead college student in his dorm room. Davidson has Chad the pot smoking, video game playing slacker that all the women go crazy for.

Doesn’t bother me when they laugh during a sketch.
It’s a live show sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes they’re gonna laugh.

Yeah I am a big fan of breaking. Looking back most of the sketches that are memorable to me or I consider the funniest were often the result of the cast cracking up at some point in the sketch.

Heck they created a hugely popular character solely based on the actor breaking throughout each bit.

You can't compare him to Fallon since Fallon had multiple repeating characters along with his WU guest spots and his WU anchor gig with Fey.
