DC Secret Six TV series in development on CBS

"Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence is the show runner.

I rather see the 60's version of the team with the 2000s custom villain team.

Another one? There are going to be a million shows now just so there's enough content to justify the DC streaming service. Be interesting to see if this makes it to CBS All Access first.

Put out enough content hopefully something will be good. Right now I suspect Young Justice (animated) will be the best of the bunch.

So this is real huh? I saw it and figured it was a "Net Rumor".

So is their version of the Sinister Six? I'm not familiar with the Secret Six.

It's a silver age concept that was brought to the present and tweaked by Gail Simone to be a team of villains taking on missions from a mysterious benefactor, basically a suicide squad type concept except as mercenaries instead of prisoners. At least that was pre new 52, I have no idea what they did to it after.

Unlike the Sinister Six, they're not after a single superhero or even for the most part a-list villains (though deadshot and Bane have been members).
