Your point being? They can try and paint him as a victim and make him seem as sympathetic as possible, that doesn't excuse him for what he's done.

Guarantee in the end Jennifer will either convince him to surrender, testify against Tobias, etc, or he will end up giving his life trying to redeem himself.

You’ve been reading comics long enough to know there are more than a couple of reformed evil doers out there. Who’s to say he can’t. He probably won’t even be the worst one on the current CW lineup. Looking at you Black Siren.

I don't disagree- comics in general are full of heroes and anti-heroes that have no compunction in killing. Oliver is a sociopath, and I call out the hypocrisy of it almost every episode. The Flash is the one standout I really enjoy in this sense- Supergirl unfortunately doesn't do it for me.

I guess just saying that these shows are too quick to gloss over the fact that their heroes for the most part don't hesitate to kill, and don't really deal with the consequences. Black Lightning touched on this briefly this season, but didn't really go into it too deeply

Even Batman shoots people in the movies now. These are the times we live in I guess...

That was a good ep. I felt so sorry for Lynn and Jefferson. Clearly they were losing it over Jenn's departure. Awesome seeing Jenn figure her powers out. I really want Khalil redeemed at this point.

Cutter = HOT AF The actress joined a Black Lightning Group i'm in.

I’m starting to like Khalil after this little arc and agree that I hope he gets redeemed.

I know Kearran Giovanni (Cutter) from Major Crimes and holy crap she is one sexy villain.

I'm sure Khalil will get redeemed by risking/giving his life to save someone, probably Jennifer.

I’m an episode behind. Tobias pulled out Khalil’s spine and he lived.

So pretty much everything went down exactly how everyone predicted they would from the start of the season with the whole Kahlil and Jennifer redemption and death thing.

Probably the least popular of all the DC CW shows, but renewed for a 3rd season: https://deadline.com/2019/01/the-cw-...al-1202546919/

Yup. I'm surprised they actually killed Kahlil off, it is a comic show, he'll probably come back in a few episodes.

Re: Black Lightning (The CW) -- Season 2 Thread -- premieres 10/9/18

Watch this show damnit! It might be the least popular of all the CW DC shows but has the best writing by far. Because it's so unpopular I fear they'll include the characters in next year's crossover.

This week's episode has Jennifer grieving for Khalil. Nothing really happens.

I noticed that every single white person in this show (except Ghambi for the most part) is either evil, stupid, or some combination of both. And there is mostly only black and white here, it doesn't seem people of any other nationality resides in Freeland.
