didn't like more Chuck stuff, until the end scene
Fring really is a low life evil SOB, couldn't even give innocent loveable Werner any kind of pass
loved Mike duelling with the other hitman, would have liked to seen that go to a conclusion

I kind of love how you almost can't tell if Jimmy says "it's all good man" or Saul Goodman at the very end.

It does work as a pun, though. Like he's announcing his new self.
"It's Saul Goodman!"
"It's Saul Goodman!"

No doubt. He wasn't even trying to leave the country to return to his beloved wife; he just wanted a 4-day getaway with her and then he was coming right back to finish the work. Brutal.

Season 5 won't return until 2020 according to Sarah Barnett, president of the entertainment networks group at AMC Networks: https://www.vulture.com/2019/04/kill...-strategy.html
Do you have a status update on season five of Better Call Saul? When is it coming back?
We said on our most recent earnings call that the series would come back for season five next year.
Oh, I missed that. So Better Call Saul, not until 2020. That’s something else which has become increasingly common these days — big shows taking longer breaks between seasons. But if it’s what the creator needs and wants …
Yes. It’s driven by talent needs, which we would not override if it would result in a worse show.
Do you think that Better Call Saul, unlike Walking Dead, has a more limited shelf life? Are we getting close to the endgame for that series?
Well, we know clearly the end was already written before the beginning began. [[i]Laughs.] The writers, they have a very particular, very clear sense of the arc of their show.
In terms of how much longer that has to play out, do you know?
We’re certainly getting closer to it.
You’re not going to give me anything, are you?
No, I’m really not. [[i]Laughs.]

FFS. These breaks are getting ridiculous.
And I had to laugh at the question about shelf life. Mentioning BCS and TWD in the same context is a joke.
Seriously, that's some really shitty news.

I am backlogged on a ton of shows/games to last me a lifetime so I have no problem waiting longer for the quality to remain consistent.
Everything we have heard up until now was Summer 2019 though. I wonder if they are planning around the BB 'movie' or possibly just deciding to do one more season and end it.

The longer these breaks - the older the BB actors who are on BCS (or will be on) will look... when they're supposed to younger.

I was really hoping to see a premiere date not a delay of game... I look forward to the return of this show probably as much as GOT. one of the few must see shows for me out there.

“Better Call Saul” will return for Season 5 with a two-night premiere in February, AMC announced on Wednesday.
The “Breaking Bad” prequel will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m., behind a new episode of “The Walking Dead.” The series will then air another new episode on Feb. 24 at 9 p.m., its normal time slot.
Here is the logline for the fifth season:
In the 10-epsiode fifth season of “Better Call Saul,” Jimmy McGill’s (Odenkirk) decision to practice law as “Saul Goodman” creates unexpected and profound waves of change for those in his orbit.
When TheWrap spoke with series co-creator Peter Gould after the Season 4 finale, he said that they were “closer to the end” of the series. David Madden, AMC Network’s former entertainment president, agreed, though, he assured that the upcoming fifth season would definitely not be the final one.
“Safe to say Season 5 will not be the end. How much longer it goes past Season 5? It’s in Peter and Vince’s hands,” Madden said, adding that he will wait until the two come back for Season 6 to map out the end of the series. “I think only then they will know how much longer it has past Season 6.”

Awesome, but I’ll have to wait for it to appear on Netflix this time. I cancelled cable and got Hulu Live, which doesn’t have AMC.

Waiting a while for this. Looking forward to it.
But just can't imagine Kim staying with him after he's practicing as Saul.

Six seasons sounds good.
This thing, by its nature of being a Breaking Bad prequel, can't go on forever.

I believe six was always the number in mind. Glad to see it end accordingly.
