This was really good. Funny, graphic, nice look. Really enjoyed that first ep and can’t wait for more.

Reviews I've seen say the show is consistent across the first season so I'm definitely looking forward to more.
Yeah, this definitely had a Venture Bros. (which is basically comedic adult version of a Hanna Barbara universe) vibe to it, which is a good thing. I'm kind of sad I won't be able to binge the whole series until I resubscribe for Titans s3.

Watched episode 2, even more Venture Bros. like (I kept thinking of Kite Man as one of the Monarch's henchmen for some reason).

Also, this seems odd but they're going to air the premiere episode on TBS:

I know they allow swearing on cable TV now but I think they've still gotta censor it, right (I noticed that during the DC universe live show they have ads for this where they censor it).

Also in Canada it seems like they put this on Adult Swim.

Seems pretty violent for basic cable too. Granted it’s a cartoon but still.

Didn't enjoy the first episode. Way over the top (and I love over the top shit). Felt like they were trying too hard. Maybe it'll smooth out in the next episode.

Robot Chicken, Rick and Morty, and Mr. Pickles are just some violent cartoons airing on basic cable. Not to mention the over the top things American Dad, Family Guy, and Drawn Together.

As for language: thanks to Happy! and Blood Drive, its obvious basic cable is not as tied down to prudish standards as broadcast television. The individual stations choose their own standards and practices.

Honestly I was hyped up for this. Everything leading up to it was great, but after watching the first episode I'm rather disappointed. Just seems like a try-hard terrible comedy like the average american animated sitcoms; just with more cussing and blood. Doesn't have the same vibe the trailers had and feels like it'd get old quick. I'll watch episode two, but if it's more of the same I'll probably bail.

Getting a bit too jokey (no pun intended) for me. I want to see a bit more serious storylines and dialogue to match the violent action scenes

I want to like it, but it’s not working for me. Someone compared it to Venture Brothers, but that show is so much better written.

Ivy is hilarious. Love her dry humor. Bane is also funny. Love that they use the voice Tom Hardy used!! Lol. Ep 2 was good. Liked that Penguin's son had a Bar Mitzvah with Supervillians invited. Lol

For anyone who hasn’t seen this and doesn’t have DC streaming, I just noticed episode 1: ‘Til Death Do Us Part is on TBS tonight at 11pm est.

Not sure why or how, but it shows in my guide. I can’t see them having all the cuss words, but would be interesting. I’m gonna record out of curiosity with dubbing. Not sure if ongoing thing, but was kinda surprised this would air on cable only a couple weeks removed from streaming on an exclusive service. It is sandwiched between other DC movies like WW, SS and after Dark Knight Rises. Interesting...

So far, for me, Ivy is the best part of this show.

Ivy is definitely the MVP of the show. Her dialogue with Kite Man in episode 2 is comedy gold... Hell Yeah!

And using a Tom Hardy DKR-style voice for Bane was genius. Every bit of dialogue with Bane was LOL funny.

As I suspected, TBS bleeped out the F words but left everything else.

American sensibilities with its messed up values. Graphic violence is OK but swearing and nudity is strictly verboten.

Episode 02 was definitely an improvement over the first episode.

The show kept the other swear words in the TBS airing, only F and MF were bleeped out.

"Shit" is generally accepted on basic cable now. Why that and not "fuck" is beyond me. Whatever. I think I'll go watch a George Carlin skit now...

Ivy kissing the teen boys to save their lives was both Creepy AF and hilarious.
