Not much discussion this season, but it has been renewed for Season 4:

https://deadline.com/2018/12/the-goo...bc-1202513823/

The Good Place is averaging a 1.6 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall in Live+7 to rank as NBC’s highest-rated comedy series. The show’s 18-49 rating grows to 3.65 when 35 days of time-shifting and projected digital viewership are added. The Good Places also delivers the most highly educated audience among primetime Big 4 series this season, indexing at a 155 among adults 18-49 with four or more years of college. Additionally, it makes regular Top 10 appearances on various binge reports tracking streaming viewing.

Good. I'm really enjoying it, but it's maybe a hard show to talk about, besides just gushing over every scene. I mean, I could speculate on where the next episode will go, but I'm nearly always wrong.

I think the show has slipped a bit story wise this season but I will continue to watch for now.

Here's a discussion of all that went into pulling off this week's episode:

I think someone just earned herself a supporting Emmy Nom with that episode. Wow.

She was amazing in that. For an untraditional look I find her sexy and would be willing to bang. So she's got that going for her as well.

She was forking amazing! It’s been hard for the show to maintain the same “wow” level it had in Season 1, but this episode did for me.

I never realized how tall Stephen Merchant is until he dwarfed Ted Danson in all those scenes they had together.

I was always hoping we would get an episode that featured Janet and that totally exceeded my expectations. Turns out Janet Jason steals the show the same way Jason usually does.

Loved the Janet episode too. I was getting a Tatiana Maslany / Orphan Black vibe. She had a lot of the mannerisms and vocal inflections down. And looked great in a tight Jason t-shirt.
Should be an Emmy contender, maybe Globes too.

Pretty good interview with D'arcy Carden about this episode:

They just said that no one has gone to the good place in the last 500 years.

But earlier in the series, they said that Abraham Lincoln had gone there.

A lot of lying has occurred on the show. They're just now getting to the truths.

Specifically, Michael told a lot of lies about the Good Place while perpetrating the fake "Good Place". It's become clear Michael doesn't know all the facts.

I didnt like the 500 years thing. I would have preferred something like 50 which the Accountant could claim as "rounding error" but one thing to consider is that the group were in the bad place for over 300 years. When they are in the accountants office it could well be 500 years after Lincoln.

Remember: Jeremy Berimy

I assumed they were talking about "Earth years," where it's currently present day.
