The Gifted would fit in quite nicely with the rest of the Marvel shows going to Hulu.

Hulu budgets could never afford this ensemble cast. They would have to cut half of the cast.

Pretty goood second season,. This show has a strong cast

Didn't really fee Reva as the big bad. Her power was overstated

And Polaris's powers are well understated. She could have easily destroyed all of the purifiers guns when they had them surrounded in the building in the last episode, even if she didn't want to turn the guns on them which is what Magneto would have done

will definitely keep watching

So why didn't she? I despise neutering characters by making them stupid when it comes to their powers. It's lazy writing.

Polaris took down a jet, you would think a hail of bullets would be nothing to her.

I think less lazy writing, more writing within budget

From what i've read, this show almost definitely is cancelled

Trying to do an X men like show without it rating gangbusters, i can't see it continuing. Shame because Amy Acker and Natalie Alyn Lind are two of the best things on TV

Natalie Alyn Lind alone is two of the best things on TV.

That's unfortunate - really enjoyed this show.

Of course it ended on a cliffhanger. Hopefully some streaming service will pick it up.

I doubt it. I'm guessing Disney is going to want a cooling off period of the X-Men.

A shame. When Jamie Chung is probably the least attractive woman on the show, you know there's some serious eye candy there.

They wrapped up the main story. Matt Nix wanted to give people answers but leave the potential for a future season. It was good of him. I will miss the show.

I admittedly only watched the premiere and this totally got lost in the shuffle for me.

I enjoyed the 1st season a lot, but shit happens and sometimes you just can't keep up with everything.

Rumors seem to indicate that Marvel may not get around to making X-Men movies for a few years, you may be right.

The Gifted was a good show with a strong cast. The first season was great considering it had few A-level X-Men characters. The second season was still very watchable, if not quite as enticing.

That's a bummer as I really enjoyed the show and where it went with the X-Men universe. Seems like all the current crop of superhero TV shows are tanking.

Re: The Gifted (FOX) -- Season 2 Thread -- premieres 9/25/18

I hope Amy Acker and Natalie Alie Lynd find good new shows soon they can strut their stuff

No surprise this was cancelled

I think Disney will lay low with the Xmen and connected characters for a while and when they hit the MCU, it will be a huge

An Xmen v the Avengers movie will break all records
