There are rumors floating around that Hawkeye is being delayed. Was supposed to start shooting in July. 2 thoughts are they are trying to work out Hailee Steinfeld's Apple non-compete agreement and/or they are trying to let the Renner stuff blow over. Both seem plausible.

I’ve heard rumors about both of things a few weeks back. Interesting they are delaying.

I keep hearing rumors that WandaVision is absolutely critical to Marvel's next planned cinema phase, acting as a linchpin.

If they follow some of the ideas of Avengers Disassembled, Wanda could basically create the House of M that would shake up the whole reality and most likely bring mutants to the MCU. Also, she could be the reason why there's is a Young Avengers project that has rumored to be in the works. If Wanda kills Hawkeye and Scott Lang, it would make even more sense.

I got a feeling that Wandavision and Doctor Strange 2 are the key movies to expand the MCU world and bring the new properties that they have acquired from Fox.

The Hawkeye rumor was refuted today by Disney.

Fucking Comicbook.com just posts any random story from a no name source as a "headline"

They are just as bad as We got this covered and Cosmic Book News.

I'd rather they not start doing stuff like this. Multiverses, past-changing time travel, reality-altering; it's the kind of stuff that can overwhelm universes to the point that it becomes a crutch and nothing that happens means anything because it can be undone with a jaunt to the past, a trip through the mulitiverse, or Scarlet Witch wriggling her nose.

When they want to bring in the mutants, all they need to do is just say that they've been there for years, operating underground, and when they "out" themselves, that's their introduction in the MCU.

They could all have been living on Krakoa (if they're going to use the premise for the MCU X-Men that's currently in the comics) for decades, for all we know. Then Magneto leads some kind of civil war among the mutants, and leaves Krakoa to conquer the world, and now they're operating openly in the MCU. No multiverses or reality altering necessary.

A Hawkeye series with none of the other MCU characters is basically Arrow, won't be that exciting at all

Id much rather see fresh characters in MCU television like Dazzler and the Wrecking Crew and Demolition Dunphy

I could see Owen Wilson as Baldar.

Interesting that both Wilson brothers are appearing on streaming service superhero shows.

Wanda's gone mad and created an alternate reality where she and Vision live the perfect sitcom-family life.

If that’s real, that sounds fucking horrible. Who wants to see that? We see Marvel for action, suspense, not stupid experimental shit that has no chance of succeeding...

It's actually going to be a critical piece in launching the next phase of the MCU. Probably a variation on House of M and bring mutants into the universe.

I’m most excited for WandaVision by far. It has the potential to be something special and not just the mostly mundane typical action stuff. Fun, but I prefer brain candy.
