8 episodes in and overall quite disappointed

Finished the season last night. Kind of a corny ending. Not sure if that was supposed to leave room for a season three or if they were implying "this is what everyone's doing now, and that's it".

I liked it a lot more than I liked S1. Definitely agree that the fight scenes were vastly improved. Colleen got to kick some serious ass.
Liked seeing Mary. Hopefully she's a character that could cross over to other series like DD.
Very end was...strange. Not familiar with the Iron Fist in the comics, so I'm not sure what that was all about.

That last scene was to inspire XXX iron fist porn. So far iron fist is the only marvel show not to get a xxx parody. Just imagine using the iron fist to you know. You saw what happen to Wong's big long sword. Just think of what will happen when Danny shoots off his special chi. Marvel is going to make a ton of money off this porno.

Much better than the first season. Less whiny Danny, better fights, BUT... the hokey ending (even if it is a nod to the comic book).

Sounds like they may do something with him on the Disney streaming service. Still haven't seen Luke Cage S2 or Iron Fist S2, but they may as well just do a Heroes for Hire series instead of individual ones at this point.

Bummer thought this season was an improvement over the 1st. They definitely should try to do Power Man/Iron Fist show

Just got done with Season 2 the other day. Way better than the first, but still not great. Jessica Henwick continued to be the stand out.
I would imagine Danny and Colleen will show up on Luke Cage.

Yeah it definitely was better than S2. Too bad. Just do Heroes for Hire and make everyone happy.

Yeah, just retool the whole thing as Heroes for Hire and throw in the Knight-Wing agency for good measure.

That’s a shame - I really liked Season 2. The fight choreography was leaps and bounds better over Season 1 and I was really looking forward to where they took the story. Colleen is a total badass and I wanted to see her as the Iron Fist too.
It’s kind of weird to have this show cancelled while the others are in the air. Is there a precedent for this? Because of the shared universe stuff it’s like if Marvel decided to cancel all Incredible Hulk movies going forward. Which it seems like they did but Hulk pops up in everything else so it doesn’t really matter. If Danny goes over to Luke Cage or something, it’s like Iron Fist wasn’t cancelled. I dunno, it’s weird.

Sorry to hear this was cancelled. I liked both seasons, and the end of this one had me excited for a third.

Out of all the Marvel Netflix shows this one had the worst stumble out of the gate thanks in large parts to former showrunner Scott Buck. There were likely enough viewers who hated Season 1 so much that they didn't even bother to give Season 2 a chance.

First Marvel netflix show to be 'cancelled', they shouldn't have used made it seem cancelled, just that there wouldn't be another stand alone series
Just like in the MCU, the Iron Man and Hulk solo movies are not cancelled, they just aren't being made anymore and the characters are doing other things in other movies

Weird. While I enjoyed the first season, I had the same problems as a lot of people. I though almost all of those problems were rectified by the second season, and was looking forward to a third season.

Finally finished watching since I wanted to be caught up before going to Daredevil Season 3. This was mostly background noise for me, I just didn't care that much about what was going on to focus all my attention to watching it. It was better then the first season, especially with fight choreography, but like with the first season I just don't care about the Meachums or Davos and all the constant back and forth between them.
Alice Eve was ok as Mary; she was fun in the role, I just didn't care for how she fit in with the rest of the story. Colleen was a highlight again, and it was fun seeing her with Misty.
If these shows are going to cost Netflix a bunch, not surprised to let this one go. The quality just isn't quite there.

I watched season 2 back in November but never commented. I actually thought it was a step up from season 1. Not surprised the show was cancelled though.

OK, aside from Punisher Season 2, I'm caught up on the Marvel Netflix shows.
Season 2 of Iron Fist was definitely an improvement. Danny was much closer to the Danny Rand of the comics (which was infinitely better than the Danny Rand of Season 1). And, let's face it - Jessica Henwick is freaking awesome. The overall plot was interesting, although they really took a 180 on Joy. She became the Ward of Season 2. They reversed roles, which was probably a mistake, but was an expedient way to get the Davos/Iron Fist angle figured out.
Even with that, it was a very good season. If I were Danny, though, I would have left things on a clearer, "I'm coming back, I'm not really leaving you," basis.
Good stuff. All of the Marvel/Netflix shows were. It's a shame that business, egos, and competing against a partner got in the way of those shows continuing.
We REALLY needed a Power Man and Iron Fist show with the Knight-Wing Detective Agency as part of the show. It was all pretty much set up. They just needed to move a couple pieces and they were there. Mike Colter and Finn Jones had great chemistry when Jones appeared on Luke Cage. It worked - just like in the comics. The Odd Couple of superheroes!
