Well, just add it to the list of one more CW show I'll probably drop. Too bad, I liked this season a lot.
Good recent episode. How long before Sir Justin shows up again?

The fight was intense though I'm not sure what Courtney's goal was in attacking Shiv. Did Courtney plan to kill her?
I've heard the same production team will remain in place for at least season two. More worrisome is that CW executives will start demanding things for their audience. Previously they had no input on the series. Many, many people blame the CW's executives for the direction Supergirl took after its first season away from CBS.

I’m torn on this show. I feel the need to about turn it off when scenes like Beth and Pat go off into Cindy’s house, and Pat has to pull a “gee golly she’s my daughter wouldn’t you know!”
Those scenes come off as silly and cliche. Even Cindy visiting Court was dumb and equally cliche because - oh look everybody at how silly Cindy is for not figuring it out - but then BAM! The show hits you with a one two punch of Cindy knows (!), and then Court literally flies in to her house to take her down and “rescue” her friends. Plus the scene with Henry added to things with the fight in the street.
On the move to the CW, I agree it’s likely going to be terrible. The budget will likely get slashed, and who knows for the writing and direction. Let’s just hope it doesn’t falling to the declined Arrowverse quality, because save for the crossovers I dropped those all years ago.

Johns believes in more light-hearted takes on superheroes, at least when adapted for the screen. As widely reported, he was never really on board with Snyder's grim approach to DC's classic heroes.
The latest episode with Henry becoming aware of his powers was pretty great. I liked the little exchange between Dragon King and his daughter, lol.
Supposedly when examined closely, Stephen Amell was photoshopped in as Green Arrow for the Seven Soldiers of Victory vintage photo.

I think the show is much darker (in tone) then you would think based on the cutesy star and ads. People getting killed left and right (including high school kids)

I wonder how much of the budget is taken up by the actors. Wilson and Smart probably don't demand the top dollar they used to but I wonder how expensive they are for a CW budget.

I find it interesting that Sir Justin saw his broom as the Cosmic Staff- I assume it was a hallucination- he isn't fully aware of who he is yet.

Pat telling Courtney about the 7 Soldiers was my favorite scene.
Looking at the photo GA doesn't look like Amell to me.

I've been liking the show so far but at the beginning of episode 8 (Shiv part two), everyone knows that Stargirl got attacked by Shiv. How? The only one who saw the fight was Justin. Courtney was found unconscious by Pat. How the hell he learned who attacked Stargirl? How does Rick, Yolanda and Beth know who attacked Courtney? This type of thing is what brings the show down a couple of notches.

Same here. I'm catching up on the series using the DC Universe service and there has been several of this plot holes throughout the 8 episodes. The other big one was in episode 6 when Yolanda is showing Courtney Ted Grant's boxing fight on her cell phone, which makes me wonder how did Yolanda get her cell phone back. I mean, a big point on the previous episodes was that Yolanda was fully grounded and her cell phone was taken away because of what happened with her topless photo. She told Courtney that she doesn't have a cell so they can text. Now, out of nowhere, Yolanda has a cell phone and Courtney is texting here from it at the beginning of episode 8. This type of plot holes detract big time from the show in general.
