I don't know if anyone noticed, but Lea Thompson directed that episode. It looks like she has gotten into TV directing in the last few years.

I know her career isn't exactly going blue blazes lately, but this seems like a pretty thankless role for Amy Smart.

Even with the original JSA I would think someone else would just wear the goggles along with another power. I guess that kind of like the human Avengers not using Tony's tech to bit a bit more durable.

Warner needs to start releasing these on 4k Blu, or at least 4k digital, there’s no way I’d go back to standard 1080p after watching them in 4k HDR on DCU.

Shaping up to be a story where the teen heroes are children of villain parents. Isn’t that basically what Marvel’s Runaways plot was on Hulu? I never got around to watching it, but that’s what I seem to remember reading about it.

I just don't see that happening anytime soon, especially with fewer retail outlets carrying media. These days, most studios don't even see the point of still releasing shows on BD.

Stargirl's 1st season was filmed in Georgia. I could see it staying there because that's where Black Lightning is filmed. If anything they will reduce the special effects budget slightly to fit the CW's budget.

Supergirl's 1st season was filmed in Los Angeles with CBS money. That's why the budget hit was noticeable when it moved to Vancouver.
