Holy shit. I wonder how many takes that took to get right?

Another great episode. The studio scene with Pickles and cancer girl was amazing. I don’t know where the show is headed. But I’m hooked on the feelings.

She deserved it. I’ve had my heart broken in a similar way before. Would have loved to have friends and family there to scream fuck you. It was one of those writer fantasy moments.

Now that I think of it, Jeff smashing up his office rang true too. Someone is out their skimming off my life stories. I’d appreciate a “Special Thanks” in the credits.

You should think about why you want friends and family to speak up for you instead of you standing up for yourself.

Nah. It was just a superfluous statement. It’s always fun to observe writer fantasies. Charlie Kaufman writes like that a lot. That dinner scene came from somewhere.

Anyways, another great episode. From next week’s preview, it looks like Jeff might end up snapping too. I’m still hoping, with all the foreshadowing, it doesn’t end up that way. I like to think the foreshadowing is misdirection. Pretty sure I’m gonna be devistated if the finale ends violently.

If you guys aren’t watching this, you should be. I ignored the first few episodes. Caught up. But wasn’t too thrilled about each new episode. Now it’s one of the few shows I anticipate each week.

I was too occupied with the possibility of Jeff being revealed to have a gun. Didn’t see that ending coming.

Another great episode. But thinking nobody else is watching.

I feel like this is the exact show the older Jim Carrey wants to be making.

Just watched last weeks episode and the ending

Shame Sunday is the season finale, I’ve really enjoyed it.

Re: Kidding (Showtime) - S: Jim Carrey - Series Thread

I've just watched the first two episodes of Season Two, even though Showtime is burning off the series rather quickly. I don't recall reading that there were problems behind the scenes, but there's a slightly different feeling this time, -it's just a hair "off". It certainly misses Michel Gondry's surreal touch. I'm not sure if I'm still in...

I'm liking this season better. Less of his kid being mopey and less of Jeff creepily trying to get back with his ex.

Making my way through Season 2. Episode 5, the episode contained almost entirely within "Mr. Pickles' Puppet Time" was quite moving...though the Ariana Grande guest spot didn't really work for me.

Started watching this show with my girlfriend, but we only watched the first episode as there were problems with the internet connection at the time. Hope to get back to it soon. Liked the first episode at least. I feel like this is the kind of role Carrey thrives in.

I wonder if it will come back for season 3 since it probably has a niche audience and they burned it off rather quickly with two shows a week.

It got delayed a few months from its original date so that’s why they doubled-up.

Just finished it up. The show was hit or miss, but when it hit well when it did. Personally, I think the last episode was as good as any to leave with, but they haven't made a formal announcement one way or the other yet.

This show was really good. I think that finale was the end. I'm okay if it was.

Some of it felt really heavy - much like Eternal Sunshine.

Yes, it was. Showtime announced that it won't be coming back a while ago.
