I loved Season 1 of Daredevil and Jessica Jones but everything else has been 'Meh' to me, this included. I think they need to reduce the number of episodes and concoct something resembling a plot. Rosaio Dawson is the only thing that has kept me into these later outings.

S1 Luke Cage went downhill in second half but was still better than Daredevil S1 imo. Ironfist seemed like they could have spent more time getting ready for it rather than jumping into it but otherwise was good. Punisher was excellent. Luke Cage S2 has been solid, although feels like it could have been condensed more (still have final 3 eps to see though).

I understand that Rosario Dawson isn't sure she wants to do the Marvel/Netflix shows anymore, due to being away from her family for filming.
She did say she'd like to be on The Punisher so she could say she was on all the shows.

I dug it. It was much closer in quality to the 1st half of season 1, and not the second. I was thinking they had a lot to cut out to make it flow a little faster, but by the time I got to the end I realized that everything I thought was filler was setting up season 3.

I enjoyed it. Still think 10 episodes would be enough for these shows. Really enjoyed the team ups with Iron Fist and Bushmaster. I really enjoyed him as a villain. This also made me look forward to Heroes for hire as Rand was actually a good character and I was hoping he would stay for another episode.

I've seen all the Netflix Marvel shows and imo Daredevil S1 was the only "meh".

I've watched the first two episodes and found them very boring.

I liked the 1st part of S1, then it started going downhill. It seems like S2 picked up on the downhill and has accelerated. Do they have the same writers? It's just not as interesting.

Overall I enjoyed this, but I thought the back half of this was better than the first half. I agree that it could have been trimmed down by at least two episodes. There were a lot of rehashed conversations between characters, sometimes hammering the same character beats four or five times.

Just finished episode 10. I didn't hate Danny in this one! Looks like he's been training and picking up the moves better this time around.
They need to just stop doing individual seasons and just create a new show called Heroes For Hire.
This season has been pretty boring.

I've watched the first 5 episodes. I think the pacing is pretty good and the story and characters are enjoyable. If it stays the same quality for the remaining episodes, I'd probably put it in the top tier of marvel netflix shows.

Finally finished this yesterday. It was ok, better then the first season as far as consistency in quality, but still not exactly great material. I got bored of the constant back and forth between Luke, Bushmaster, and Mariah and while it was great seeing some of the backstory and developments between the 3, I thought the way it ended was somewhat anticlimactic. That attack on the Jamaicans was pretty nuts though.
I really hate Shades and the reliance on that character, especially since I think he's not very interesting and think the actor's acting is pretty poor, so attempts to make him compelling along with his friendship with Commanche and relationship with Mariah just seemed dumb.
I liked Danny Rand. Misty was good, although the whole thing with Nandi was terrible and a waste of time. As others have said, could have cut 3 episodes from the season and it would have been better.

I am slogging through this. It just isn't interesting to me. Outside of Luke Cage, I don't really care for any of the other characters. I will finish it because I know the crossover with Iron Fist and I want to see that grow. Honestly, they should just merge this show and Iron Fist, and make it the team up we all want.

I wonder if they will actually combine this and Iron Fist?

Looks like it was creative differences between Netflix and the writers as opposed to low viewership. Sounds like Netflix just decided to cut their losses and bail.

Steps 1 and 2 have been made toward a Heroes for Hire show. Step 3 is to announce it!

This is frustrating. The series had some flaws but it was still really good.

My guess is, Disney is jacking up the costs on their Netflix shows to the point they're no longer attractive to the network... helping them to eventually land on their own streaming service.

I kinda wondered this too. This and Iron Fist are cancelled on Netflix, but maybe they’ll get to make a comeback on Disney’s streaming service. Either as a combined show or as two shows like they were on Netflix. Kind of makes sense that Disney would want to start producing more of these shows in-house and directly for their service.
