Steve Martin. Martin Short. One night with your two favorite amigos. An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life premieres May 25 on Netflix.
I could've sworn that a thread was created for this when it was announced, but I guess not.

Glad to see Steve Martin doing something. I haven't checked his IMDB but it seems the only time I see him is when someone has hosted SNL for 5 times or so.... He was extremely good in movies back in the day of Roxanne and back...

If this is their touring show (which we caught last year) it will be fun. We loved it when we saw them live. We had no idea what to expect and came away very entertained.

Steve has been extremely busy, just not in movies. Putting out music and touring with his bluegrass band. The tour with Martin Short. Writing books, plays/musicals (Bright Star was very good).

I've seen his bluegrass band on TV. It's great. I'd rather see doing that than comedy.

My wife and I caught this show live at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville this past year. They were great. I'm sure the show is a little different each night--they seems to riff a lot--so we'll watch this recorded performance.

Looks cool!

Tickets for their show were impossible to get, here. I would've loved to see them.

The show is playing here tomorrow night. I've been holding out to see if I can get last minute tix cheap. Everyone I have talked to that has seen it have said they had a good time.

This dropped. It's pretty good. Pretty clean, as one can imagine (mostly).

I really enjoyed. I've been a huge Steve Martin fan since he first hit the national scene in the 70s.

I enjoyed this. Funny and a quick breezy show. I missed them live but it reminded me of the John Cleese & Eric Idle show I saw last year. Fun having two old pros just telling stories and cracking jokes.

Ended up getting good tix for $35 each tonight from Stubhub about 2 hours before showtime (and it was sold out). The live show is very similar to the Netflix show but with a bit more. We had a great time.

I counted two F bombs, and some innuendos, but not terrible no, it was very funny. We only meant to watch the first few minutes but ended up watching the whole thing.

Top that, motherfucker!

While I loved it, I thought it went by pretty quick. Wished they could stretch it to 90 mins. though maybe the Netflix legal song might go on and on.

I should ignore the obvious troll bait, but yes they were funny.

I will say a good part of it was them bouncing off each other. Solo acts might not have the same charm from them, but together they riffed on each other and made it more than just jokes.

I thought this was great. I really enjoyed it. These are two of the funniest and most talented people of their generation. Martin's amazing talent and career speaks for itself, and Short is one of the few people on the planet who in turn can break up Steve Martin at will, which tells you all you need to know about him.

No just bringing it up since they don't do movies anymore and they were huge in the 80's and maybe early 90's.

So you can only be funny when you're actively working and really popular? Was Don Rickles no longer funny before he died?

The girlfriend and I watched this last night and thought it was wonderful. My only quip is I wished it was longer!! They were fantastic together. Love to see another one. Hopefully Netflix gets good feedback on it.
