For those that give a shit:
The series is now mired in uncertainty, especially since this call was reportedly a creative one. Since the writing team supposedly now has to reshuffle the plot to make up for those three lost episodes, plenty of reshoots are expected so that the end product makes sense, according to local reports.

Stirring up shit? Other people reported the state of DCU which has 2 shows on the air - one of which already had issues with the final episode and another that abruptly canned 3 episodes.

This is unofficial, but I'm on a Facebook group where one of the members has a friend who is a Producer on the show. But, according to him, Swamp Thing is 1 and done. They basically pulled the plug on anymore seasons.

That's unfortunate for Wilmington. People were really rallying around this show, especially a lots of local businesses.

No kidding.
Personally I doubt this is in trouble for the time being. I think Swamp Thing was probably just too expensive and too many people were wanting something different out of it. I doubt the network is in trouble. Supposedly it's been doing decently and better than expected. I figure if we hear that Titans season 2 is canceled, and Star Girl is canceled than it's time to worry. But there seems to be a major desire to shit on this for whatever reason.

That's what I read. I saw it on an make-up effects group, because Derek Mears was playing Swamp Thing and it was a man-in-a-suit creature, with very minimal CGI.

The trailer looks decent, and I'll watch it because it's DC, but I haven't been overly impressed with anything DC comics has put out on TV or at the movies since the Dark Knight trilogy and the DCAU.
