Homeland (S7E11) -- "All In" -- 4/22/18

ALL IN
Original Air Date: Apr 22, 2018

Saul's mission is a go. The clock ticks on the Keane administration.

It was confirmed last week from Claire Danes that season 8 will be the final season.

Wow. That was classic Homeland. Pretty good episode. Enjoyed the back and forth with the Russians.

Good episode, with that classic Homeland tension throughout.

Yeah! That justified my continued watching this show. Exciting and interesting.

When you guys say it was classic Homeland, I completely agree, but I mean it in an entirely different context. For instance, I found all the unintentional comedy eliminated any concern over building tension. There was maybe 10 minutes of the episode in total that could be taken seriously. This episode contained more farce than a 19th century French clown college.

I didn't find it all that tense, because it was pretty much choreographed the way I thought it would be. Plus it was only a few minutes.

This season's story line is pretty weak and mimics too much of what's going on right now. That really feels lazy to me. If they're going to keep it in the US, it should still be concentrated on real terrorism - not this "destroying the democracy of the country" crap.

Wow, your 2nd post in 3 years on the forum and you decided a S7 episode of Homeland is worthy of it?

Yeah, I'm more in this camp. Of course only Carrie, not very convincing as one of the troopers even though dressed in all black, is able to reach Simone.

I am, however, so very glad they resolved the Frannie issue. Now maybe this show can get back to its roots to finish strong.

Predictable episode but still delivered. Hopefully they close this loop this season and move-on to something new next season.

Most secure spot in Moscow ? Carrie wasn’t spotted on the outside of the building. And there’s a balcony into this super secure location. One ep to go !

As much as everyone bags on Carrie for being the opposite of 'mother of the year', I think the award for worst parenting in a cable-based drama series has to go to Detective James McNulty of 'The Wire'

Those kids of his are either sociopaths now or dead.
