That's what tends to happen when the show resorts to one of the main characters using self induced vomit onto another character as means to escape. W T F.
Other than that bullshit this was a good episode for once. Would've been better if they actually showed more than just a few seconds of the Negan/Simon fight.

I gave Eugene a 10% of chance of surviving this season, but it's down to 0% now. He's a dead man.
Sorry, but in a fight - Simon would kick Negan's skinny ass with ease.
I still laugh at the impending doom when a few walkers are approaching someone - when walking slightly faster than the walkers is all that's needed to avoid them.

I think Eugene is going to sabotage the bullets. They've spent too much time on his bullet factory. It's going to be a plot point.

My brain went to Austin Powers when the assassin Random Task threw a shoe at him.
I could almost hear Rosita say "Eww! That's really gross! That's going to stain, you idiot! Who vomits on someone? Honestly?"
I don't know how that moment could be taken any other way than comically.

The whole Negan-Simon fight scene seemed contrived. Why not just kill Simon out in the yard? The Dwight surprise in his room is more Negan. Since they haven't killed Dwight, I assume he will survive and still merge with Rick's group once the war is over.
How is Gregory still alive?
And this is probably me just not paying attention, but they pretty much revealed that Simon was the one who had all the Oceanside men killed. They mentioned it in Talking Dead later.

Re: The Walking Dead (S8E15) -- "Worth" -- 4/8/18
I loved this episode even though I hated seeing Simon go. I disagree that it was not like Negan to kill him that way. He wanted everyone to watch him kill Simon so they would be less likely to try to mutiny, again.
As for Eugene's vomit, a couple of points. I think the surprise of it and the ick factor took her off her game, though I am surprised neither she nor Daryl could catch him. He's not "fleet of foot" as he has said.
And second, I am so SICK of having to watch people throw up and looking at what they expel! Every show does it. In this case I understand, but most of the time, I can't imagine why I have to see the content of someone's stomach.

This is what I assumed as well. Between that & last week's episode with the Negan/Jadis heart to heart talk where he says he is 'taking a different path' or however he put it, I think the writers are trying to get a sympathetic Negan which is ridiculous considering his past actions.

Too bad I knew Simon was going to die since The Wrap tweeted it out the night before.
It was funny on Talking Dead how the fan guest brought up Game of Thrones which seemed to fluster Hardwick.

Going to miss Simon, Steven Ogg was one of the best actors in the series. He just commanded presence when he was on screen. He should have been Negan.

OK, that's not fair to Jeffrey Dean Morgan because he is good. But damn, Ogg would definitely have been better.

I could clearly see Ogg in that role. He was always such fun to watch; I hate that he's gone. I think JDM is good, as well, even if he did, especially in the beginning, play Negan like Snidely Whiplash.
The problem with both of them is that Negan was supposed to be a BIG guy. Not just tall, but like football player big. JDM's so spindly, I keep thinking I could catch him in a big lean and just push him right over.

Maybe Eugene was hoping Rosita would be so grossed out being covered in vomit that she'd become hysterical or puke herself, giving him more of a lead than it actually did.
Simon was a better villain than Negan, and IMHO the actor playing him did a better job than JDM does with Negan. There was a commercial for "Rampage" during the show where JDM delivered a line with the same shit-eating grin and tone he uses as Negan. I think he was even leaning back like he does so often when he's speaking as Negan.

I read somewhere that Kirkman based Negan on Henry Rollins, and he was considered for the role.
I can sort of see that, but I also can't...

JDM is a fine actor but agree with smorbie Negan should be physically imposing; like 250 pounds roided jacked dude. JDM barely fits that leather jacket. He's lean and weighs 160s so basically the total opposite of how Negan should look. Second they cast JDM, he should've started a dirty bulk.
