The first five minutes. Wow.

I had never heard Simon Pegg speak without his native English accent, so I wasn't entirely sure it was him until the credits so weird hearing him speak with an American accent

I didn't realize they actually cast him (since the comic book character is based off of him, like Ultimates Nick Fury was based on Sam Jackson)

I watched the 1st episode last night and thought it was interesting. Very violent, so this is definitely not for kids.
I do like how these "Superheroes" are kind of arrogant and full of themselves.
I when "The Deep" was pleasuring himself when the new girl was getting a tour of their headquarters.
The ending left me a little confused
So I guess Karl Urban and the tech store guy Hughie are the foils to these superheroes huh?
I'll try to watch some more this weekend.

Yeh that was answered in the second episode.

Fucking brilliant. Watched 1st ep. Bloody and violent as hell. That Robin scene set the tone and was so original. Like a fun, much better Watchmen
So much fun and different take on superheroes. That Stargirl scene with The Deep, heartbreaking and odd whipping it out like that. Karl Urban! Fucking love him. So glad he came out of a bad Riddick of all movies to become pretty big. From LotR to Thor. Love him. Simon Pegg, Liz Shue. Great stuff! Don’t know why Simon has to not have an accent though. Hughie’s mother could’ve been American and the fact Hughie grew up in America. Minor quibble though. Very original thus far...

I've got one ep left... some really weird diverging from the comic's storylines and characters (reminds me a lot TWD).
The acting is good though. Good casting.

4 episodes in and this show is quite fantastic. Great cast and love the no barriers attitude. The guy playing Homelander is great as he comes across as such a douchebag.

Watched over the last two days. I never read the comic so this was all new to me. It was pretty fucking good. Looking forward to season 2.

Depends. Amazon has been able to stick to a mostly yearly release schedule for most of their bigger shows. If this is a hit, I imagine they would try to fast track S2. They already gave it an early renewal, which probably helps to get S2 out next year.
