I haven't been watching it and don't plan on doing so, but I am interested in reading folks' reaction to it.

The original run of the show was never as political as I has been in the first three episodes of the new season. Essentially because they family being poor white trash (Roseanne's actual words, including in the first episode of this season) never intentionally connected to anything specifically political like it does now. #MAGA
SO far it's essentially the shame show story wise, but they refer to Trump specifically over above labeling themselves as white trash. The difference so far as the been the terrible acting. Including Goodman and Metcalf just shouting their lines towards the other characters.

Great episode this week. Best one so far this season. It made me laugh out loud several times. And damn if Lecy Goranson didn't make me cry. Michael Fishman resurfaces for two lines. His character is just non existent at this point. Speaking of which, why no mention of Jackie's husband Fred and their son Andy? Both played a huge part in two seasons. Next week David returns.

Well, it was much better than last week, but I think the first 2 episodes beat this one. The shelter's reason for not giving Jackie a dog was ludicrous... Jackie is too old for a dog? The writers want us to buy that?

Well, it would be un-PC to say they wouldn't give her a dog because she's too crazy. Because Metcalf is acting pretty nutty this season. I still like her though.

From what I've heard, most of the shelters around here that adopt out dogs and cats are so desperate to get rid of the animals, they'll let you have it as long as you tell them you aren't going to eat it.

I have enjoyed every episode so far, probably because I was a big fan of the original series. Plus it is nice to have shows like this that aren't trying to be anything special. It is a good burn for 20 minutes(after commercials.)
Next week's episode should be good with David returning. I am hopeful they involve more of him next season along with answering the questions about Jackie's personal life too.

On Entertainment Tonight yesterday, they showed a preview of what was supposed to be last night's episode. It wasn't the episode that aired though. It looks like this episode will focus on DJ's kid.

Fantastic again. Man what a breath of fresh air this is. I thought for sure this coming back would be a huge mistake. So glad it did.

Rhea Seehorn cameo!
Maybe Saul Goodman's antics led to her being disbarred and now she works at a pet shelter in Lanford?

Yep, this last episode was really good and felt like they were all back in their groove now from the original show.

I liked this past episode, although it makes me think that this would be better if it was limited to this short run they're doing and not become a full-season 22 episode show again. Sort of a "whatever happened to..." vibe, and just leave it at that.

This show is not running out of steam IMO. And tonight's episode was the best yet. And I know I said that last week. But it's just getting better. My only gripe is Metcalf's overacting. It's just too much. I wish someone would reel her in a little. Lecy Goranson has gotten better. But the overall tone of tonight's show was pure classic "Roseanne".

I’m just surprised that Estelle Parsons is still alive.
