The season finale was last week. The writers room was to start up this week for Season 2.

I have to agree with this. What Roseanne said was truly nasty and hateful, but she's never had any filter. And she's also mental. Both of which ABC knew when they hired her again. Not sure what else they could have done. Maybe suspend her for a while? Or make her do some type of community service in the black community? I don't know. But she's not the only reason why people tuned in to watch the show so why should the rest of the cast suffer? I just feel really bad for the other actors. Everyone was so excited to be back and enjoying themselves. I was really enjoying the show's return and will truly miss it.
