I just started watching S1 tonight and I kept going "Japanese internment camp??? this is 1845!". I'd heard a blurb about S2 and I thought the whole show took place in a Japanese internment camp.

I have to wonder if they could locate the mahogany and copper coffin they dropped off next to one of the boats. I have not watched the series but I'm reading the book now and its fascinating... to think of being trapped in ice for so long and stalked by polar bears sends a shiver through my whole body.

It's an anthology series like American Horror Story, changing up the premise each season.
