Anissa needs to stop with that weird asthmatic gasp she does right before she uses her power.

I think the zombie is a backup plan of Lady Eve. So far I have liked every episode.

I am really digging the Gambi story and the ASA. Rare that you can enjoy the story even if the super isnt involved.

The Breath Anissa takes is pronounced but I think that is just their way to show when she is weak. The way they pointed that out this episode I am seeing something happening with that in the next couple episodes.

From the preview I was hoping they wouldn't keep the other sister out of the loop but it appears that they will let her know whats going on. Hate that way of writing when they dont bring someone in and that is always the person who gets caught because they have no clue whats going on.

That's consistency. During the period where she was trying to figure out her power and how to use it, she determined correct breathing unleashed it. Of course they could just ignore that as shows often do.

Holy shit. And I thought Arrow was dark.

Whoever's writing this show has a seriously dark world view. Tuskegee-like experiments on a black population to make them more docile, whose side-effects are super-powers? I honestly don't even know what to think of this.

This could be the darkest super-hero show ever to run on TV.

I agree. As he figures out her powers that should go away.

That too. All part of the darkness of the show. LaLa's murder victim resurrects him and tattoos her portrait on his body while haunting him. Holy shit, whoever's writing this is seriously fucked up, on some serious drugs, or both.

I thought Lady Eve resurrected him, and that the ghost is the manifestation of his guilt over his killing Lawanda. Didn't they have where Lawanda said that he shot her, and LaLa said she would not stop filming in a "look what you made me do" sort of way.

I haven't seen Black Panther yet, but I can't but think Black Lightning deserves some of that love.
